Its not about JA ultimately just sharing the reality of this complicated situation which is more smoke and mirrors than anything else when you realize everyone knows each other and are playing all the parents for suckers

Facts here. That 09 BSC team has scouts watching them that should have no business being there.

Exactly JA comes first lmao!!!

Back to this- These two rosters moving forward will be a great case study in chasing the big team (2 starting 11s) for eyeballs at big events vs consistent playing time on a smaller team (smaller roster, more playing time) to be showcased throughout the year. O9's prove latter is already happening on JA's watch

JA as a parent of players is the type of parent that he would have hated when he used to coach. The hypocrisy is strong with him.

You all get sucked in so much. If you worry only about your kid, you wouldn't have so much hate towards people. JA is doing the same for FXU as he is for BSC. He knows a lot of coaches which is helpful, but your kid still has to have what the college wants. That's why people won't go to Arlington or other clubs when you're trying to get recruited.

Unless it's a head coach, it doesn't matter which college is watching. Only a head coach watching makes it legit.

They then reach out to at least 8 of the starting line up for FVU 2010 less than two weeks from the season starting and ask them to leave FVU and join BSC. That is flat out wrong on so many levels. No one is arguing the invited girls are not talented and deserve opportunities but this was an unprofessional shady move from two coaches bitter they were fired and wanting to punish FVU.

Or maybe, and hear me out, the unprofessional folks are at FVU and caused ALL of this drama by their own inability to run a club.

This wouldn’t have been an issue but some kids didn’t get invites to BSC and that upset alot of FVU parents. It wasn’t nearly 8 as advertised either. That number is being thrown around very loosely.

I apologize if this has already been answered, but I'm a little new to this thread. Why did the coach of BSC 10 get fired by FVU? Seems like he was doing well over there and was asked to leave, why?

He was told to choose between Union and GFR after GFR bought his contract-for-hire coaching company a year earlier. He chose not to dump GFR. Union didn't renew his contract for the following season, but let him finish out his term for the rest of the season including the playoffs. During that time, he negotiated an offer with Bethesda to keep coaching both programs and some of his players followed him to Bethesda. Pretty straightforward.

Why did Union make him choose between GFR and Union? Union invited a bunch of no name clubs to join afterwards — why not just add GFR? At some point it seemed like GFR was going to join.

VYS doesn't want GFR involved and VYS got control after MYS bailed on FVU.

Do the powers that be at VYS really have that much leverage? It’s a mid level club at best. How’d they get such authority while being a no nothing club? Crazy
