If they were to just have a competitive game for local bragging rights it could be very fun.

NM vs CW…Battle for Va practice fields…

Of course the FVU parents would get worked up and take the this stuff to seriously. This game could give FVU the two things that it currently lacks at its games.

Excitement and Scouts.

Because the Bethesda parents are so calm and civil after all

They didn’t cry their way into a showcase.

Enjoy flying across the country just to play games on an abandoned airfield.

I was going to compare it to the VYS college placement program over at FVU but that would be unfair since the American Legion Bridge is at least functional.

Players are on their own to get themselves into schools. You’re fooling yourself if you think otherwise, especially with that guy.

I’m sure the VYS(FVU) college placement reps are telling you that kids are on their own. Because at FVYS they really are on their own.

Care to compare his(‘that guy’)college placement achievements to the current FVYS ones then? Type away

They then reach out to at least 8 of the starting line up for FVU 2010 less than two weeks from the season starting and ask them to leave FVU and join BSC. That is flat out wrong on so many levels. No one is arguing the invited girls are not talented and deserve opportunities but this was an unprofessional shady move from two coaches bitter they were fired and wanting to punish FVU.

Or maybe, and hear me out, the unprofessional folks are at FVU and caused ALL of this drama by their own inability to run a club.

if you weren't just trolls going back and forth you would know that the same guy JA is doing college placement for both teams as a contract employee with both clubs. These two rosters moving forward will be a great case study in chasing the big team 2 starting 11s) for eyeballs at big events vs consistent playing time on a smaller team (smaller roster), more playing time) to be showcased throughout the year. BSC team should do better statistically but is clearly not a national level team with loses to their two in-state clubs this month. Two teams who have both been terrible for years. FVU will be better moving forward but not a top team nationally. Now watch where players commit over the next year and change, the two teams will be interesting comparision point.

A coach trains and takes a "group of talented girls" to "an Elite 8 finish at Nationals," then the club fires that coach, and some of the players chose to stay with that coach instead of the organization that fired him, and your problem is with the coach and not the management of the organization that fired the coach?

Do you think he is putting in an equal amount of work for both clubs?

His DD's come first lets be honest before any club thats paying him. Then putting in work in direct proportion to how much interest the player has already generated. Its not about JA ultimately just sharing the reality of this complicated situation which is more smoke and mirrors than anything else when you realize everyone knows each other and are playing all the parents for suckers

So best Bethesda 10 player abandon the team and the best FVU players abandon their team. New Bethesda team didn’t gel well together. FVU did not get players to replace the ones that left. And you all are surprised both teams went down hill? Saw it coming from miles away. Just because you put a bunch of good players together does not automatically mean winning. Sometimes good players benefit more from unselfish players. Enjoy the 2nd and third tier cups and the thousands it’s going to cost. No worries, plenty of money to go around between the two.

The most truthful statement on this thread. The coaches don’t care about any of you.
