TSJFC

Most teams didn't pick up players on girls side. It is all new kids for the most part all playing with all new coaches. They are improving with more time working together. For the most part, the new coaches are superior to what we experienced the prior year. Everyone just wants to shit on everyone, but the players are developing and improving from week to week. And no this isn't Adam.

Nice try Adam

How many players are returning to ga teams at each age group?

Seriously, TSJFC boys to Springfield? What are they thinking? SYC runs the boys show in Springfield, hands down. SYC has all the pathways like MLS 1 and 2, their boys program is the best in the state in every age group. If TSJFC actually want to compete, they should be in Loudoun, not Springfield.

They have always had a small number of teams that train out of their flagship location. Nothing new.

What are you referring to? Will TSJFC not have “north” teams for buys anymore? Honestly Loudoun is getting pretty crowded these days with LS, VRSC, and other clubs close enough to Eastern Loudoun like Sterling, Herndon, and Valor.

It makes more sense for TSJ to operate mostly in Springfield. They can tout their indoor facility and get the boys who want to play on a “top” team but not good enough to be on SYC or Alexandria top teams. Maybe they lose some of those kids at older ages if they don’t have a pathway. But if they’re in EDP that’s fine for a lot of kids.

Believe it or not, they are tight on field space at the Flagship. It is hard for them to allocate more space to support more teams. They share the space with a lot of sports and events and training sessions. They can do it, but the field space is shrinking.

Nah, if I was TSJ, I'd be focusing on Loudoun, not Springfield. Trying to take on SYC, Alexandria, and all those clubs is just... pointless. They're shooting themselves in the foot if they want to grow their boys

Oh, I believe it. And it's gonna be worse with the football program that they're pushing. I'm just saying that this idea that they're moving to Springfield is a farce, they've always been there. They don't have the field space other than the indoor one, and won't be taking any away from SYC.

south county area fields are already allocated.

You should be asking your coach about the south move if you haven't already.

This is such a shit disturber type of post.

I can say as a parent of a current player who drives to TSJ fields in Loudoun this season I would have loved nothing more than to have been told by TSJ that they would be moving things to Springfield. But that isn’t the case because after talking to the coach about our offer for next season we have decided to accept a different offer to play closer to home.

The only intent I can see from your post is just to place uncertainty in people’s minds about whether TSJ is being honest or not. TSJ like many clubs have gone through some changes and uncertainty in the past year, but they were true to their word regarding where we would practice all season.
