There is no individualized data. No matter how emphatic some posters are, there is nothing. It is all aggregate data. Suggesting individual data is accessible online is disinformation.

The law needs to be amended to take people like her into account.

this is exactly why FOIA is needed to expose the mishandlings of the government and their entities such as FCPS

100%. Foia was created to give normal citizens insight about the government. Not to give the government a tool to go after those citizens when they don’t do what they’re supposed to do.

So Debra Tisler obtained info and then passed it on to this person? Is that correct? From that link:

In 2021, FCPS provided FCPS parent Debra Tisler with a FOIA response including FCPS legal invoices. Debra shared them with me. I immediately started redacting all 1,316 pages (because FCPS failed to redact private information about students), and then began publishing information related to the legal invoices.

Omg. You’re a nut job and so are the others who abuse foia and FERPA. You are a bunch of paranoid extremists. TEACHERS do not think of themselves as “government.” This is why TEACHERS don’t want to teach anymore- because if crazy, condescending, angry, elitism nut jobs who think TEACHERS (aka “the government”) are out to get them and violate their rights. FFS WTH do you think the school is hiding or conspiring??? Omg you are terrible. I hope Callie, Deb, and all associates/advocates who do not condemn her get all the karma they deserve. All you crazies abusing FERPA and foia who have zero respect for professionals are everything wrong with education 🤯🤯🤯🤯

23:01. You should calm down yourself. To say that teachers don't think of themselves being in a governmental position is just a stupid comment. Whether they think they are or not, they are. Their paychecks come from taxes.

The documents revealed that FCPS caters to popular parents more than others, are involved in multiple lawsuits, and had poor security and organization. They also still owe parents money during covid.

All of this could have been revealed without sending information to a think tank or posting the data on a website.

Off the deep end much? Geez. I mean pot calling kettle black.

Now, for those who are not the poster, yes, teachers are government. And while teachers aren’t the problem, you can’t simply create a governmental policy like foia, but start excluding a bunch of things. I mean, you can, but that leads to loopholes. That leads to everyone claiming immunity.

As for the poster, I’m sure you am smart two.

I’m sorry you are offended. I’m sure it happens a lot to you, and that makes me sad. But the pp’s post is almost a word for word definition for why foia was created. Not some fringe theory.

I’m sure you are used to insulting others to make yourself feel right and smart.

Yes, I am smart two. So are all the other licensed, qualified teachers who devote themselves to educating our future and your children. Teachers want to teach and NO they don’t see themselves as “government”- they see themselves as teachers. Unfortunately, they can’t TEACH because condescending, untrusting, anti-government, know-it-alls do not think educators are intelligent or doing the right thing. Parents take out their anger and misguided political crossfire out on school staff and on this forum. Foia is one thing. Abuse of foia and FERPA is another. You appear to miss that point. The parents making foia/ferpa requests are the fox news, right wing, anti-government crew who are in denial about their child's profile and are upset about not getting their way.

But please go on and support those who abuse foia/ferpa. Go on attacking the public school system because its not perfect, and just ignore all the great things our school system does. Keep the blinders on and carry on with "FCPS is the worst." Just don't be surprised when your child's "teachers" are not real teachers because they have all quit, and young adults refuse to enter the field or work for FCPS. Parents like you are a huge part of the problem.

I can see that the general public cannot identify who individual students are.

However, I can identify several students. If one is familiar with a school or a program it’s not too hard.

These families should not be subjected to this. I don’t know why the documents are still up.
