Has anyone been successful in losing weight by just focusing on a hunger scale? Weight Loss for Busy Physicians podcast talks about this.
I've experimented with WW points and myfitnesspal calories etc. I don't eat after dinner. There's been a lot written about how snacking is bad as insulin is released every time you eat. I guess I've been afraid of getting hungry... Thanks for any input. |
Yup! Noom has a good image, but the one I am attaching is the same idea. After I saw it, I realized I spent too much time between a 3 and 8. When losing weight, I stopped eating at a 6. Now in maintenance I am a 3-6, maybe a 7 for an exceptional meal.

Just stop eating. |
Don't eat fully. You should not be so full that you are uncomfortable.
Do a cleanse by fasting for 24 hours. Kinda like prepping for a colonoscopy. If you haven't had one, get one done. Cleanse your colons. Remove everything. Kinda like restart your body. And do t eat slot afterwards. Keep moving. |
I have found that for me, I need to be at 1-2 from waking until sleeping to successfully lose weight and maintain it. Obviously that's not sustainable long-term. Yes, yes, I know all about foods that provide more satiety. |
