| Would you submit a 1440 SAT to UVA or go test optional? |
Would help to know other factors like GPA, rigor of course load, quality of EC's etc |
| 1440 is a great score, but don't know where it fits in the 25/50/75 percentiles for UVA. |
| And demographic info |
| Is applicant a Virginia resident? |
| You'll need to see where it fits in with percentiles, but I will guess yes. My OOS 4.0uw and 1480 SAT kid got in last year. |

Middle 50% range for fall 2021 entry (admitted students):
690-750 reading and writing 700-780 math Her score is within that range. I suggest she work hard and take it again, and then submit. |
|
for 2022/23 reportedly the UVA SATs were 75th - 1520, 50th - 1470, 25th -1400. GPA 75th -4.53, 50th - 4.40, 25th -4.24
Above information was found in a different thread relating to UVA, if that helps. |
If they URM |
. Explains why our 1570 DD rejected. |
Submit regardless, it’s a good score, I really don”t understand why people are trying to put themselves into the test optional group that gets admitted at a lower rate, especially if unhooked. I attended the UVA info session, they didn’t say anything about a minimum score to submit. People are like lemmings, no using their heads here. |
Ha! No, she probably applied RD. |
| Yes submit. |
| I would submit them. They are well in the range. |
