Navy ES principal is on leave after being charged with DWI and leaving the scene of an accident. Hard to imagine him returning to a position of responsibility within FCPS

Quite a string a bad luck for that community. |
I haven’t heard this one. Please share info. |
| What the heck. That is outrageous. |
| The whole thing is so sad all around. And quite shocking. |
| Gossip away, ladies!! |
| Didn't he leave Navy 2 years ago? Did he return? |
The parents drove him to drink. |
You know it. The FCPS azzhole parents are the pushiest, most obnoxious, triggered shitheads imaginable!!!! Also, FCPS only hires the SPECIAL ones. |
| Holy crap. |

How did he hit this house? It’s not like it’s on the side of a busy road! https://twitter.com/news_mtorres/status/1567966245521358849?s=46&t=AlTw368NXjNulD_3a0BcoA
He must have been extremely drunk. |
Yes. Apparently he lives a few blocks away. It was around 2pm last Friday when school was closed. Thankfully no one was hurt. What a mess. |
Who is that drunk at 2 pm??? |
Someone who has a major problem. It’s really sad. |
|
Principal’s name already removed from FCPS/NES home page.

My child attends Navy. The principal is honestly such an amazing guy (known him for 4 years now.) At least from the perspective of being principal, he has always been incredibly helpful and involved. My child was being bullied and he immediately took action. Even for the smallest concern, he followed up with a phone call, not just an email.
Honestly, most parents at Navy Elementary are extremely sad about this, and support him. We would all love him back once he gets through the legal process and of course gets help for himself. The day this happened, we had an off Friday. Who knows the situation? Perhaps relaxing at home and had too much? Either way, wrong actions and bad choices. However, that does not undermine that he HAS been an awesome principal and never displayed any reason for concern at school… |
