Political Discussion
Yup. Democrats win in 2028 with an unpopular candidate, they lose four years later to some repellent Republican, and on and on. It is depressing. |
You're not getting that people can hate Trump and still hate Democrats more. They can despise the Republican party's approach to deporting undocumented immigrants while despising Democrats even more for lying about the problem, worsening it and having no plan whatsoever to fix it. They can despise the Republicans on abortion, but hate the Democrats more on women's rights because inventing a human right for men to self-identify as women is the greater daily threat to a greater number of women. They can hate Trump's pandering to Israel while hating Democrats more for lying about being the party of human rights when they're in genocidal Israel's pocket as well. Democrats like you don't want to understand that "voters hate Trump" says nothing about what voters think about you. It's the latter that will decide your fate. |
This was probably sarcastic, but it's the exact position of virtually every Democratic politician. |
So many people on here can’t understand that two things can be true at once. It’s terrible. They believe and want everyone else to believe that Trump is bad means Democrats good. |
| thanks for pulling that statement. so true. |
Exactly. |
Well, there are only two parties. You either vote for Republicans, Democrats, or stay home. So far in 2025 your assertion that voters hate Democrats is patently false, since Democratic candidates have either won or drastically outperformed expectations. So no, trans hysteria isn’t stopping the Democratic Party. 99% of voters either don’t care, or are willing to put aside disagreement on the issue because they realize so much more is at stake than who uses what bathroom. You can howl all you want about trans endangerment to women, but the election results of 2025 show that very few people share your outrage. |
Imagine writing all this without grasping the difference between local/state-level elections versus national elections. A Virginia Democrat who diligently ran from every opportunity to express any support for the transgender foolishness Democrats are pushing beat a Republican who couldn't land Trump's endorsement, so that means voters love Democrats for the presidency. Makes sense! |
There are more than two options. Stop being a sheep. Work toward establishing a new major parties. There can be two but these jokers need to go. People here are also small-minded. |
Also, there is more than one person who thinks the two existing major parties (or should I say corporations) need to be supplanted. |
Yep. Each each election, each level, each place have a different calculus. |
Shhh! Don't tell them! They might actually get a clue and not waste $1 billion on losing next time. |
Imagine thinking that Virginia was the only election in 2025. |
Right, that's what I thought. Virginia is the only state, in fact. You're hitting hard here! |
Stop being sheep? Stop being a deluded fantasist. There hasn’t been a viable 3rd party since 1912. |
