Their ‘34 team is really good.

They had better be, considering that so many players had their club fees waved to come play for M&D DC. That is one way to build a team.

So you get the club fees waive if they want you in the team? And it’s not need based?

Many did. Yes.

People just make things up for the internet.

Aren’t all DMV Clubs basically 3500+?

How are the playoffs shaping up? Who else will make the bracket after Coppermine, M&D DC, and Hero's?

Yes. Field fees for places like Stone Ridge are high. Hero’s doesn’t have to pay for those. BLC may have a deal with Bullis to get that field cheaper.

Okay 2029 club parents, what high schools are your daughters going to?

Any significant groups from M&D DC, BLC, Hero's, MDU etc? GC has been bragging about their 2029 class. Let's get some info.

As a full pay family, I feel blessed knowing we are doing our part to help the more fortunate in our community.

Is MDDC really charging 4k for club fees? If they are that's expensive.

Rumor is they poached the best players who made 34 BLC blue, who had a full roster at the end of the first summer try outs, by offering them free spots. A ton of girls went over and then BLC 2034 blue had to hold a supplemental try out in August too make up the difference for the girls they lost.

I'd be surprised if that were true. All the best girls on MDDC were already there. The Blue girls were likely offered a spot, but not a free spot.

2034??? You guys crack me up. Newsflash, the best players on a 3rd grade team, won’t be the best players on a 9th grade team. Maybe 1 out of 5.

29 chat, take that somewhere else.

While yes a 29 chat, I do find it interesting that they are playing this “waiver” game at younger years. Guess they feel the model worked for 29s so rinse and repeat!

Ahh, to be young and naive about how this now works in the DMV.
