An anonymous poster on DCUM said they heard a rumor. You should be able to discern the difference at your age between that and constituting it as fact and "finding it interesting".

Not with M&D DC 29 but my daughter was offered a waiver to switch from her club to another club mid-season two years ago. When a club is desperate to fill a team for number or capability, the will waive their fees.

But that's a mid-season change. Full season........

We didn’t accept the mid-season offer and they extended the offer at the end of the season for the following year. For the full season, they recruited enough players but didn’t have depth in key positions. And no, my DD is not a goalie.

FFS, the post said "a ton of girls". If anyone believes a club is foregoing a huge chunk of the reason they are business ($) for a 3rd grade team, then there are going to be a lot of phishing and Nigerian prince scams that land in that person's future.

Guess MDDC is doing the same NL did. It’s 4k because you are subsidizing. Hopefully your kid will get playing time if you played full, but there’s no guarantee especially as they age.

Every program has discretionary funds that they can use for good players, financial need, both, whatever.

Yeah but if they didn't do that then who would switch and in effect pay for two club seasons in one year? You can't get your money back from the first club.

Well all the girls are not going to make Capital, and some who do, do not have to take the offer. There are other options.
