free for everyone b/c they charge 4k a year, way more than other clubs.

M&D (including M&D DC) costs $4k a year?

M&D does not cost $4,000 a year.
M&D DC DOES cost apporx 4k for my daughter. I am not seeing the ROI with mediocre coaching.

Are you stating that as the total cost of everything or the fee that you pay for the year upon making the team? Our experience is $2000-something at a MD club, but of course we’ve spend hundreds of dollars beyond that for club/team related things that really weren’t optional.

Just saw the HS rankings. DMV has several teams ranked in the TOP 25 in the country! All have Capital players on them even Good Counsel. Impressive for the DMV area.

Before this year there was no other option, what other team would they be on?

You do not give up. LOL There still is not another option that is comparable!

The better question is describe the mediocre coaching you feel is happening.

Their ‘34 team is really good.

They had better be, considering that so many players had their club fees waved to come play for M&D DC. That is one way to build a team.

So you get the club fees waive if they want you in the team? And it’s not need based?

Are you mad you had to pay full price for Sawyer?

The worst part of waiving dues is later having to decide whether to be competitive or solvent.

Guess MDDC is doing the same NL did. It’s 4k because you are subsidizing. Hopefully your kid will get playing time if you played full, but there’s no guarantee especially as they age.
