GT/AAP Appeals

Our mail often doesn't arrive until 2 pm or later, so I'm expecting to get the heads up from others on this forum when your letters arrive. Good luck! And don't forget to post your scores with your results (for future generations and their tummy butterflies!)

Now I'm freakiing out. Just read on the other GT Appeal thread that there is a partially-deaf child who has a VCI of 134 and a GBRS of 11 who got rejected in the first round (WISC was submitted with the original package). God help us!

A friends daughter just got a rejection on appeal. Such a bummer. Now she has to switch schools due to the boundary change (she was in an AAP center school). Now her sister is in the AAP center and she will have to go to a different school.

The mail just came, and DC was found eligible. We are so happy, relieved, and grateful.

NNAT 137, CogAT 123 Composite, GBRS 9

VCI 138, PRI 145, FSIQ 146

The WISC was an amazing process. We learned so much about our DC's learning style.

Such a roller coaster. Good luck everybody with appeals.

Well, at least they are taking the kids with FSIQ of 145+ (smile). And I've very sorry about your friends child. A double bummer to have to leave her base school (and her sister). Warm thoughts to all.

Oh now I am really fearful. My daughter's FSIQ was 132.
