| MCPS Central Office or High School ? |
| Used to be both working together but I don’t know if they changed that make it more equitable to minority kids |
| It used to the magnet teachers...but that info is a few years old. |
The selection process is race blind so that would be illegal. |
Yes and life’s supposed to be fair, right? |
It used to be the coordinator with a few magnet teachers and a couple from the central office. |
| Politicians. Their kids always get in - Reimer and Raskin and Franchot all to Blair magnet…interesting. |
They don't know the applicant's race or name, and don't know whether an applicant is a minority. That would also be illegal in the US. The allegations of some process where there's a different standard for minorities is definitely fakenews. |
Just keep posting this over and over again until - one day maybe - the troll accepts s/he has to find a new sewage line to haunt. |
You're attempting to mislead people by posting lies. If it weren't, it would be illegal, and the lawsuit wouldn't have been laughed out of court. |

What type of child do you think would thrive in a high school magnet? I have a 7th grader who has always complained that school doesn't teach her as much as she wants to know, does her work in the blink of an eye, and is an advanced math classes and writes very well for her age. What are the criteria for admission? |
And if they sent their kids to Sidwell instead you’d complain about that too. |
Yes, it is and has to be a race-blind selection, but you can read about it yourself from a credible third party news site.

Straight As, 99 percentile standardized test scores. |
| How does this work if your coming from private but want to do public HS? |
