Jamie Raskin- could he ever be pres?

I’ve been feeling so discouraged about who the Dems seem to have available as a future leader. When I listened to the last January 6 hearing Raskin kind of blew me away with his thoughtfulness and focus. Clearly the guy is a master communicator. I’m not from Maryland I don’t know that much about his record etc. I know he’s very smart, Washington insider type. For those of you who are local do you think he has or would consider a run for presidency? I feel like we could swoon over him as a candidate.

What meaningful legislation has he authored and gotten to pass?
Besides leading they impeachment and January 6 hearings, what are his other qualifications?

Governors, except for foreign policy, to me have better qualifications and experience to lead the country. They have to make decisions for the state, make policy, budget and work with their legislatures.

I can’t help but wonder how much of that is our idiot media. I can see the thinkpieces now. The media caters to the absolute stupidest voter and treats it like a beauty contest. They manage to mess up every aspect of how they cover these campaigns.
