| Blonde mama at the pool today wearing a full face of makeup including bright pink makeup (my kids were like "mommy, why does that lady have hot pink lips? that is so weird"), a precious little bikini, kids in matching Lilly, and both a sunhat and sunglasses all while sitting in the shade. What is the point? Why even bother? This is the suburbs lady, you're not at Millie's anymore. |
| Why are you so triggered? If this is what makes her happy, let her wear the makeup! No need to be so insecure OP. |
| She sounds obnoxious |
| She sounds like she was enjoying her life. Good for her! |
| If she’s not going underwater in the pool, the answer is the same as “why do people wear makeup anywhere” |
| Why are you judging people and taking time out of this beautiful day to write about it on here? |

I think I'm very unattractive without makeup. I have terrible skin and you won't see me out without heavy foundation to cover my dark circles and rosacea.
Mind your own damn bisness!! |
| Sounds like she looks good and enjoys wearing makeup and looking nice. Teach your child not to say unkind things about people. |
And also, teach your child not to talk about other people's appearances in public. Period. Weight, makeup, jewelry. |
How is it unkind to ask about someone's lipstick? These are 3 and 5 year olds. You sound like you're probably the lady from the pool, LOL |
I hope you get help for your confidence issues, I bet you're beautiful. |

I hardly ever wear make-up, least of all when it's hot and humid - blaaargh. Lily is so glaringly ugly. But I do like wearing little bikinis: they fit my long torso better, and I can adjust the two pieces for my pear shape
To each his own, OP. |

I doubt her child asked any such thing. It’s like the Hollywood version of childhood where they all say precocious things. |
Most children ask such things. They have a knack for it. Adults usually teach them not to comment about others' appearance, unless it's a medical emergency. Pink is fine, blue is not! |
