Please recommend some target schools for my junior

Anonymous
TJ Junior, female, Non URM, fun, creative, outspoken, loves challenges, resilient, kind. Most of the kids there are STEM kids, while she is more interested in humanities and arts. Some of her stats: GPA (4.49 as of today), 8 AP (+4 in senior year), most rigorous coursework, national level awards, varsity sport captain, athletic award, passionate volunteer throughout high school. She prefers a small/medium sized college, no greek life, in a suburb. She's pretty much decided on her reach and safety schools but needs help on a few target schools. Any suggestions? Oh, we can't afford full pay for elite schools so she'll need some financial aid. Thanks a lot for your time!

She has 12 APs, not 8. No test scores?

Targets would be roughly from T40s to T80s. Schools have Net Price Calculators to give you a financial aid estimate that is need-based.

Most colleges have some greek life, but the % varies.

How much is your annual budget for college?

Small school in the suburbs with no greeks?

I think you need to persuse the T50 LAC list

Davidson immediately popped into my mind, as I believe it was noted in the long thread about the girl choosing between Amherst and Davidson that they had no Greek Life.

Based on what you are listing, I think she could apply to just about any of them and have just as good a shot as anyone.

Even though there is Greek life, what about Seton Hall and St. Joe’s. Both give aid.

Davidson is like 40% Greek. OP's kid should look at Conn College.

Really? Sorry, then, OP. The information I could have sworn was noted in that thread was incorrect.

Someone must know the good LACs with NO greeks.

Reed, if she’s interested in being far from home and if she can get aid, which she should with those stats.

Do you mean need-based financial aid, merit aid or both?

Just asking, because many top schools offer pretty comprehensive need-based aid but not as many offer merit scholarships. Some schools may offer a combination of both.
