And honestly, Marco would just tweet more Bible verses rather than address causes and solutions so if I were a Floridian voter, I’d be voting for Demings.

Her biggest concern is abortion. Floridians biggest concern is inflation. She is out of touch and not suitable to win the seat.
Here is the rest of her response:

Having set the inflation issue aside, Demings then answered the question by saying that her big focus is "the threat to constitutional rights," citing the Supreme Court's recent decision overturning Roe v. Wade,. The ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization reversed the Court's previous position that abortion was a constitutional right.

"What I see, this former police chief, as the biggest threat facing our nation right now is the threat to constitutional rights. And along with that comes this effort to divide us, not to unite us, when we see, for example, Roe v. Wade that passed 49 years ago, and then see the efforts – effortlessly – to just overturn that ruling, to take away a woman’s constitutional right to choose, constitutional right to privacy."

And, as for your snarky comment about Rubio - he has done more positive for the people of Florida than Demmings could ever dream of accomplishing.
Her only claim to fame was working on the Trump Impeachment team. And, that is not something to be proud of.

Oh yeah? Name three things he's done. Tell you what - name one. He's best known for tweeting bible verses and tweeting to complain about having to go to work when he wants to be on vacation. I live in Florida and cannot think of a single thing he's done for people here. He voted against capping insulin prices - that I know.

Oh, he also used his power to stop women from having abortions: https://www.rubio.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/2022/6/rubio-introduces-bill-to-block-biden-from-declaring-federal-emergencies-on-abortion

And he opposes abortion even in cases of rape and incest: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/rubio-abortion-rape-incest-opposes-b2153791.html

Is that good for Florida? I... don't think so?

He refused to debate for now because Oz was a complete jack*ss with his “suggestions” for the debate.

Post-stroke Fetterman still has some oratory issues and yes, Oz is being an ass. MANY people have strokes and recover 100%. I'm glad to see Fetterman prioritizing his health. We know the debate would not be serious a discussion on policy as Oz is not a serious candidate.

He is not well enough to debate, but is just fine running for Senate.
Fetterman knows he would be revealed to be incapable of being a competent Senator.
What a fircking joke. Maybe he should drop out and take care of himself.

Have you taken a look at the GQP Senate candidate in Georgis?

The one in the lead? Yep.
Hope he wins. A hell of a lot better than the one that is there now.

How so? I mean, he is a brain damaged former jock with illegitimate kids sprinkled all over the South East. What does he bring to the table?

Rubio has a list of his “accomplishments” that are mostly things that Pelosi and Democrats got done. Republicans couldn’t pass anything and shut down the government when they had full control. Then Pelosi got appropriations and Covid response and economic stimulus done. Rubio is taking credit for PPP and the expanded child credit. What did he do? Make sure his donors got PPP forgiveness?

Those are not accomplishments. A bunch of small special interest bill introduced and referred to committee, with no action expected on any of them. That’s what poseurs do. Real legislative work is coalition building with colleagues on major legislation.

+1 What policies or bills has current sitting Senator Marco Rubio proposed, sponsored or voted for to curb inflation? Because I can think of a bunch of bills that Demings voted for which had that goal.

LOL. The "inflation reduction act" that will actually increase inflation?
Give it a few months. She will be running away from her vote on that.

Rubio gets kudos for not voting on that monstrosity.

You didn’t answer the question.

Dude, introducing legislation isn't an accomplishment. What has he actually *done* with his time in office, to make Floridians' lives better?

You said he's done more than Val Demings. I'm asking you to just name three things, or even one thing, you can point to as an actual Rubio accomplishment. I am genuinely curious what you will come up with!

Val Demings was police chief, by the way. That's actually a real job.

You think the Reverend Raphael Warnock who grew up in public housing and now has three graduate degrees lacks compassion and life experience?

Her biggest concern is abortion. […]

Her biggest concern is the enslavement of women, government establishing effectively establishing a religion and government reaching into people’s deepest personal decisions, the decision that has THE BIGGEST IMPACT on someone’s socioeconomic level and you want to pretend she’s just off in space?

Any reason you don’t know how to spell her name, by the way?

The pp to whom you’re replying probably doesn’t even know who Warnock is, they’re just rah rah rah for the GOP.
