Or any federal prosecution that successfully achieved conviction could be immediately pardoned by the current WH resident.

I would suggest given that there is no statute of limitations on murder that Minnesota take it’s time on the investigation and file charges on January 21, 2029.

Yes, the ice agent had already put his hand on the gun trying to block the vehicle when it was in reverse. He had zero intention to let this poor woman drive away. Either they dragged her out of the car or kill.

While that's a wild mischaracterization of the events shown in the video, for the sake of the argument, let's go with it.

The officer stepped out of the way, THEN shot her. The officer was no longer in danger at the time he fired the gun.

And you should never shoot someone that attempts to murder you?

If the threat has passed, then yes. Otherwise you become the murderer.

During a Ny times interview, President Trump wrongly insisted the deceased American was running over an ICE agent and that’s why she was shot. The NY Times reported said there was no evidence of that and they watched the video with President, and Trump agreed that she was not trying to run the ICE agent over but said she shouldn’t have driven away when ICE was trying to get her.

The NY times reporters pointed out that ICE has been detaining US citizens for lengthy periods and that perhaps the woman had a good reason to be afraid. Trump changed the subject and blamed Joe Biden. I kid you not.
