Democrats don't support deporting criminals either. They will have sob stories of this person came to the US as a child, and is now being deported to a place they never knew because they got involved with taking some drugs.

If we are deporting illegals then WHY do we need a 30,000 person facility at GTMO?

Whey the long term detention and why not just move them out?

This would be very wasteful and expensive as a way to merely detain people. There must be another purpose .

Why no raids in Florida?

If you are wondering why you are not seeing a lot of coverage of ICE raids in red states, it is because these states generally are not sanctuary states and don't have many sanctuary cities. IOW, these official cooperate with ICE so they don't have to conduct raids to arrest criminals in custody or those who have been released because of lax sanctuary laws.

But, there are some raids in Florida and other red states - when ICE knows there is a stash house or illegal activity happening.
