Coach Barron Taylor:

telling the Chantilly team "….Lesson Learned, Stop Capping and stay humble"
(what does that even mean?)

He's listed as a PE teacher at Hayfield. Was he hired new this year?

How many people at Hayfield were hired for full time jobs in connection with this team takeover?

No. He has never been head coach of a public school team without the huge advantage of open enrollment/recruiting (PWC) or cheating (Hayfield).

He seems scared to compete against regular HS coaches without getting himself huge advantages.

It's not exactly "open enrollment." PWC allows students to apply for specialty programs.

Were any football players ever turned down for Freedom's "specialty program"? Was their " specialty program" the study of football?

He worked at Freedom Last year.

Well this thread has found at least 4 full time new Hayfield "teachers" who were part of the Overton mob of hangers-on:

The "Team Mom" who is not a Mom but seems to handle the sketchy fundraising: Special Ed Teacher
The "Coach's Brother/Father of Superstar" Special Ed Teacher Aide
This "Coach-Recruiting Coach" E Teacher
Coach Overton- "School Security Specialist" (was not qualified for job)
any more?

(We have no proof that the religious nut was actually hired so I am giving Hayfield the benefit of the doubt on that one)

That's interesting. How does that work in real life?

They have one Freedom superstar for sure still sitting out. Initials CP, he was #1 before he was kicked off the roster.

He committed to Clemson his junior year.
Hard to believe he isn't participating or attending any high school practices or games.

The coaches responses on social media to CHS re the word HUMBLE expresses their outrage re a banner sign the CHS cheerleaders had made for the team to run through. So I guess all the cheerleaders in Fairfax County have to be warned that they cannot express any pride at all for their team that in any way could be construed as an insult. Instead, they should bow down to the mighty Hayfield Hawks.

This is some pretty fragile masculinity. Feeling threatened by high school cheerleaders!

Why not transfer back to your zoned pwc school so you can at least play your senior year???

I don't think its allowed once you were found to be cheating the rules. Its a one year sit out for any VA school.

+1000. I think this coach is deeply hugely insecure. He knows he isn't good enough at coaching to be successful coaching a normal high school team. He has to cheat and stack his public school teams. He has to hop from school to school with an entourage of adult sycophants in tow to puff up his ego. Anyone could coach a team of all stars to win....

Both the Overtons and the Hayfield principal are complete trash.

If he already committed, he really doesn’t need to play. He can work out with some private trainer somewhere.

Overton has been humble by not saying much about the false allegations. His team is doing their talking on the field and on the scoreboard.
