Yes, I agree - I think he’s a guy with average intelligence who thinks he is smarter than local police and looked down on them because they are local and he is federal. He probably didn’t make it into the fbi the first time and took the irs job as a second (or third) choice. I think all people who plot a murder, with some exceptions like abused women seeking a way out, have sociopathic qualities, narcissism being one of them. He is the one who is always blaming others when things don’t go his way. He is the one who enjoys being the expert and giving unsolicited advice. He is the one who mansplains ad nauseam. He is the one who should have never gotten married and should have just dated the type of young women who would defer to his ego. |

Agree with above except the FBI part. I think his mom got him the IRS job and he's just been there. When he said federal LE, people thought FBI, and he did not correct. I think someone posted CB's family are LE, what does BB's dad do? Was he LE too? She has to be disappointed, maybe this will start the softening up process? Even having read the early posts by friends of Joe, it is still hard to fathom all of this. I mean, almost no chance you will get away with it? And to take 2 lives, not something most find easy to do, never mind with a 4 year old in the home. Ruined 5 people's lives and for what gain? I think he suspected that if he divorced he would not be as appealing to AP, she was interested in someone providing a middle class life. Assets divided by 2, not so much. 100% of assets + LI, with green goggles he's looking hotter. |

Agreed. Plus no ex wife to deal with, and he was possibly expecting a life insurance payment to boot. That’s a perfect motive, hope LE can find what they need to convict. |

| If Joe was set up (and I believe he was), I think BB put a lot of thought into making this look as seedy as possible. He could’ve just hired a hapless handyman to take the fall, but he wanted both his wife and this poor guy to look like deviants. That way, he looks like the loving, faithful husband who then can find love through grief… in the arms of his Au pair. |

On Friday, prosecutors alleged that Ryan came into the picture because he responded to an account for sexual fetishes. The attorney said the account had been created from the Banfield home. Police have previously said Christine Banfield and Ryan were known to each other but have not explained the nature of their relationship. But doesn’t say when account created or by whom. Had it been going on for months? Or was this the first contact by Ryan after responding to the post. |

What’s further infuriating now is that BB’s mother has been defending him all this time yet she’s been staying at the house on and off since the murders and must have known AP had moved into bedroom with B. Yet she persisted in defending her low-life son to any and all. |

More than 1 friend of Joe has claimed/posted that he only recently met the Banfields and that he had been to the house before the visit where he was murdered. So, not first but not that long either, probably. Very https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Winger and maybe sold to Christine as being @ BB's birthday on 2/23. These kinds of situations are typically the idea of the DH, it's his fetish, commonly. If the Banfields were new to all this, even more likely was a ruse and lure. In the interview that AP's mom gave, seemed to imply some prior past relationship between CB and JR. May be a translation issue, but that seems to be a possible claim they are trying to establish. LE has JR's electronics and the 2 f*tl$fe profiles. Shame the purity police/BB reputation defenders got all that deleted. There is no defending what was done to CB and JR and the poor motherless kid. |
