There is way too much common sense in this post! |
Look on the bright side. As we were recently reminded in Uvalde and Buffalo, once they turn 18, they're able to walk into a gun store, fill out a few forms, and buy the assault rifle of their dreams. |

Pete Arredondo:
"We're going to be respectful to the family," he said. "We're going to do that eventually. Whenever this is done and the families quit grieving, then we'll do that obviously." The families will never quit grieving - what a spectacular a$$ https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2022/06/01/us/uvalde-shooting-police-chief-pete-arredondo/index.html |
“Someone” gave the kid $9,000. Go after that person. |
Assault weapons are legal and widely available for legal purchase in gun stores, as was the one used to kill 19 children and two adults in Texas last week, and the one used to kill people in a Buffalo grocery store the week before. That's the case with many/most mass shooters. They just buy it (their trusty assault weapon) in a gun store. What's the problem? |
|
Raging men will always find ways to torture and kill people. Hell, look at the countless serial killers. Odd how no one here seems to want to address root causes, like lack of respect for one another, or common sense authority figures like parents. Children are now commonly raised to hate others who don’t agree with them. Entitlement on steroids.

This is who he bought the guns from. Three months free financing. He only had to pay for the bullets. |
Whut ? Who gave the kid $9,000 ? Where did he get that money ? You don't need money when you plan to kill yourself or go to jail for the rest of your life. Tell me, do you think all of these causes you list are unique to the US? |
I don't think it has been reported in the media anywhere that someone gave the kid $9,000. Stop spreading false rumors. Anyway, the 18 year old had a job. He could have saved up several thousand from that. I don't think he was expected to contribute rent to either his mom or his grandparents. He didn't have a driver's license, so he didn't have a car to spend money on. Plus, the gun company offers generous financing. |
What ID did he use for the background check? |
1/2 of all guns in Texas are sold without background checks. Why would he need an id? |
