I am curious what thirty something couples make in this area.
I can go first. DH 33: 360K Me 34: 75k Total: 435k |
| Okay so now do you feel better about yourself? That is the point of this post, correct? |
|
Me (DW)33: $175k
DH 37: $47k (teacher) Total: $222k |
|
Me (34): ~$550k
DH (38): ~$300k This includes ~$200k in bonuses |
|
$151,000 + $345,000 (+ bonus) = $495,000
|
|
DH (34): ~300k
DW (me, 34): ~130k |
|
Me: 290k plus year end bonus (last year it was 35k)
Spouse: 286k plus year end bonus (last year it was 40k) We are both 36 and both lawyers. |
| Both 39. Me: ~$500. DH: ~$800 |
|
DH 355k
DW 270k Business 100k 725k |
|
Me: a billion
Wife: 2 billion There. See how easy it is to lie? |
|
Not enough + could be better = DCUM poor.
We are 36. |
|
DH $325
DW $200 About to turn 30 next year |
|
H and I are both in tech.
Me (35) - $420k total although $240k base Him (36) - $310k total, $200k base Total = $730k, of which $440k is base salary (which is basically the income I pretend we have, and treat our stock payouts as not guaranteed) |

I’m not sure yet.
Last couple years has been 120-130k. This year monthly pay has increased but I haven’t figured out by how much it’s added up to for the first 5 months. Maybe 4K extra? (Paid monthly on a percentage revenue basis). |
Me again. Live outside DC region |
