| As a fat, unattractive woman, I feel awkward calling, and honestly, I don't even know if I can afford it. This is something real women do, and the doctor's office won't judge me, right? |
| Yes! Real people do it and you deserve to feel better too! |
| Oh gosh OP - do it! It's honestly not as expensive as some assume it may be. Most run between $10-$13 per unit. I got 29 units - which isn't a ton. Mostly for my forehead and brows area. So $377. |
+10000! If you want to try it you should go for it - there won’t be any judgment! |
| Stop caring what others think. Live your life. |
| do it! and be kinder to yourself please! |
| I'm a heavier woman and I get botox! If anyone cares they don't bother me. Do it! |
| If you want it, go for it. I just started, love it, and no one knows. |
Same. |
| OP, it sounds like you don't feel like you deserve things, or perhaps won't deserve things until you lose weight, etc. This is a lie. |
Where is this? My derm charged $15/unit. |
| Just do it. I just started, i look great and feel like everyone who can afford it should. I was embarassed at first, and then when i was at the exclusive asthetics arm of my dermatologist, in the waiting room with other women, the receptionist came out and loudly (or i guess normal voiced) walked me through the botox 'points' club that their vendor uses. And i was dying for the first 15 seconds, thinking every woman in here is internally giggling at me. And then i was like "i guess people just talk about botox no shame at this point". |
I'm in Southern California. |
| If you want it, go try it once! I've done it twice and am in love with it. I can't believe how much it helps crows feet around the eyes! |
| Sometimes when I feel anxious about making a call I literally write out a script. “Hi, how are you? (Pleasantries exchanged)…I was thinking about trying botox, can I please set up a consultation?” |
