I don't know if I have a cold or covid as the home tests are negative but I've been really sick for over a week as my child has been. Its been miserable. I have at least another few days to a week to go... can I thank you for this?

Somewhere over the last two years, we have moved to a point where it is literally unacceptable to be "sick" anymore. Colds, the flu, seasonal allergies - all of these used to be pretty regular things, yet somehow, we carried on. And we didn't feel the need to post on DCUM about every incident either!

Honestly. BA2 is extremely contagious. It will be weeks before we know if it will truly surge or just be a "bump". I'm not pulling DD out of daycare and I won't make her teachers deal with a mask she never keeps over her nose anyway (unless it becomes required again). At this point her grandparents are protected with 4 shots, DH and I have 3 shots and she is 3 so already lower risk than all of us. I don't want COVID but it's a risk I'm willing to accept.
