Is this a joke/parody of the current housing market?

It's a bit late to be an April Fools' joke. But is this a joke or for real? https://www.redfin.com/VA/Fairfax/3709-Prado-Pl-22031/home/9617644
"CASH OFFERS ONLY NO ACCESS to see lower level and Home sold AS IS ONLY with acknowledgement that home will convey with a person(s) living in lower level with no lease in place"

Read - there is a squatter in the house. And they have the pictures to prove it. What's with the deliberate pictures of all the soda bottles and the broken flower pot and broken/overturned furniture?

How strange. And they want 800K LOL

Can a house actually convey with a tenant?

Stained towel in the bathroom is a nice touch.

I don't get it. Is there a squatter? Or is it some type of verbal rental? It makes no sense.

Must be a squatter.

Do the empty soda bottles on the kitchen counter convey?
Anonymous
Truth in advertising! I guess they really want you to know what you're getting into. Just like those scam emails always deliberately misspell things

Like the movie Parasite. Home conveys with person squatting in the basement.

There must be something more to this like they must list it to evict the squatter
Anonymous
Maybe for those who have the willingness/means to evict a squatter, this is a bargain

Every part of the description basically says that the house is a complete disaster. Even the agent was like -- yeah, I am not even going to try to make this house look livable.

Wow, intriguing. Thanks for the actual useful information! How does one even go about evicting a squatter?
