Would Andy Beshear check these boxes?

Dp. Not unless he walks away from AIPAC

Searching for an electable GOP or Dem nominee who isn't corrupted by mega-donors in some form or fashion is a wild goose chase in this day and age. The lesser of all evils is all we can hope for and let's be honest; anyone not named Trump will be a lesser evil.

DP. Nope. I am not settling for whoever the Dems leadership and consultant class roll out. Israel, AIPAC and Trump are all the same.

You are why people like trump got elected

No, the Dem parties refusal to offer anything to the working class is why Trump was elected. If I wanted to vote for big business and big donor corruption, I would be a republican.

I'm with you, my friend. 2028 will be a repeat of 2020 and 2024 when the incumbent party is all but guaranteed to lose due to the extremely unpopular sitting POTUS. Dem voters need to follow their hearts and ignore the narratives crafted to sway favor towards mega-donor preferred candidates. It's very unlikely the GOP will be able to separate itself from Trump in time to put forth a viable nominee by 2028 so it will be up to the Dems to give us the adequate leader we've been lacking since 2017. Let's hope to see a dozen or so well qualified and serious candidates competing in the 2028 Dem primary on a level playing field with mega-donor influence muted or ignored by Dem voters.

We, as a country, need to elect someone in 2028 with legitimate presidential leadership skills who can be respected by 90% of Americans and consistently approved of by at least 50% of Americans. There are Obamas, Clintons, GHWBs, and Reagans out there in this country of 340 million people.[/quote]

Dp. I want better than them. They sold out the working class too

We can do better than corporate and AIPAC aligned Dems.

I'm not waiting for anyone who does not expressly repudiate transgenderism and all the ways in which mentally ill men have been allowed to invade women. I'm also not voting for anyone who doesn't say clearly that illegal immigration is a massive problem, as as the replacement of workers by H1Bs, and articulate what their plan is to combat these two problems.

This will almost certainly rule out Democrats. The last election is the first time I voted Republican and I don't feel even a little bit bad about it.

What are Democrats are there exactly whom the party will allow to run for national office? You need to get real.

Unfortunately, too much risk nominating a woman, of any race.

If anyone paid attention, the Amish started voting in 2024, but when they were interviewed they didn't have much love for Trump but basically said their religion won't allow them to vote for a woman.

The Amish are why you think we shouldn't have a woman? Just say you're a misogynist and quit with the bullshit excuses.

I think there are a lot of Democrats who feel like you. The issue is that these are two issues where Democrats are perceived as liars (they refuse to acknowledge what voters see is the truth), and that is devastating in a presidential campaign. I don’t know how this will resolve.

“Tacking to the center” by failing to stand up for trans kids isn’t going to work. The transphobes in flyover country already hate us, soon the trans folks will hate us too.

The donor class wants open borders and so do the virtue signallers. No way we can back away from that. It would be like admitting Trump was right. Our path to power requires voting rights for the undocumented.

It must get exhausting being in Trans panic year after year, quaking over those dozen teen athletes in California. If that’s your big issue just vote Republican be done with it.

DP. Listen I’m a woman and we don’t have time to field the most qualified person. We need to just get someone who can stop all of the damage Trump has done. You can look at the data from both times Trump has won, the majority of men will not vote for a qualified woman. And in most countries where a woman ascends to the equivalent of the presidency they are from the right.

Trans folks are not a huge number of voters. This is not a winning issue.

Hate to break it to you but dems and republicans support h1b1s. And you must not watch the news because Trump is not particularly quiet about it.

It will resolve in 2028 the same way it resolved in 2020 and 2024. Extremely unpopular sitting POTUS leads to easy victory for the opposing party.

Learn how to do math. You've alienated more than half the country to cater to a few thousand porn-addicted men.
