We told TSJ we are not likely to return next season and they offered a 25% discount to stay!

Nice try Diddy.

TSJ may have to serve a probationary period before being relegated. If true, they will probably start 25-26 in GA and if things don't get better, they will probably be relegated to Aspire 26-27. If the probationary period is not required, they very well could start 25-26 in Aspire once the application process is closed and the conferences are realigned and set.

They are still pitching GA on their ID session signups. Would they need to disclose probationary period to families before committing for the season? That would really suck

If TSJ is advertising GA, then they are in GA for 25/26. IF there is a decision by GA to move them down to Aspire, it wouldn't take effect until the 26/27 season.

Are you saying TSJ wouldn't use false advertising only to pull the rug out after families committing? The TSJ I know would absolutely do this

Last year they waited until we all had committed and paid before they dropped 1000 bombs on us that would've changed nearly everyone's mind about coming.

That sounds terrible!! What did they announce after they filled the teams? Like changes in coaching? Practice locations? Something else?

Wow. That's not cool....at all! Seems like a "material change" to a contract, though. Did anybody try arguing that? Of course, at that point, anywhere else you could go has probably already filled their teams, too, so I guess your only option then would just be to sit out a season or get picked up on a lower level team where they need players. Regardless, not a good luck for the club!

Unpopular opinion but 12 months from now TSJFC will be getting better results than VRSC

I totally agree with you, which is why we stayed. Even though this season has been absolutely miserable to live through. We're giving it one more year.

Wow you had a miserable season and you are willing to go back one more year. Your money but word is that the TSJ teams will be even weaker as players are trying to find new homes. Good luck.

What do you think will change in the next year?

The 24/25 season was a complete rebuilding year for FCV and the GA is absolutely aware of that. After all, while they didn't admit it in the press release, they know that they accepted VRSC into GA entirely on the basis of the FCV staff who went there and the players that they were able to convince to go with them.
There's obviously a lot of "churn" this spring amongst NoVA clubs and the area will end up with more GA clubs than ECNL for 25/26. I think next season will be critically important to FCV's continued future in the GA. Now that they're a season removed from the mass exodus of staff and players, it will be important that the current leadership and staff are able to prove that the program will be able to be competitive again at the GA1 level. If that doesn't happen, then I probably wouldn't be entirely shocked to see the club relegated to Aspire in 26/27.

It won't happen. Adam lies like there's no tomorrow. The north club will fold just like the Reston gym did

It's no secret that they are rebuilding and this was a shit year. But, they are rebuilding. The coaches have been focused on the right things - player development - for the most part. Are they dead last in most age groups? Yes. But, what I see on the field is improving over last year. The skills on our team have improved from summer to now. While everyone loves to hate on Adam including me, the communication IS way better than it was before and honestly a lot of the stuff people complain about are issues that are found at every club. And no this isn't Adam. Do they have a long way to go? Yes. While I'm not gung ho on a lot of stuff, the progress is there and overall much better without a lot of the toxicity that was in place last year.

isn’t the slate of coaches all new, too? it’s not like the 25/26 is the learning and experience of the 24/25 staff.

Yes, this is already version 2.0 of the new TSJFC. This time last year there was a new group of coaches brought in to replace the departing VRSC/VDA coaches. Those coaches didn't last the year and now there is another new group coming for next year? I think we've seen this act before.
