I haven't read the entire thread, but just wanted to chime in about the extra intrigue about the Saudi royals renting out entire floors of this hotel. With this and the stabbing, you could write a pretty interesting thriller book/movie just showing the goings on in that hotel.

Ah, I used to work around there. It was common knowledge that there were escorts in the Palm restaurant several nights a week.

My cousin had to do an internship or practicum placement at the Ritz for her degree in hospitality & tourism management. She said it was a revolving door of cheating spouses and high end escorts.

As soon as I saw this on Twitter, I forwarded it to her and her response was that it was the least shocking thing she would have seen, had she still been there. She's had to call 911 on 4 separate occasions for guests with various objects/shaky things stuck in their butts.

Which part would there be a link or evidence for? Not sure which part is fantastical. I’ve borne witness to some very odd things. If you know where to look and who to ask you too might have some colorful stories to tell. There are a lot of A-type, powerful, a@$holes in this area and the vast majority of them have very interesting Proclivities which they freely indulge in. These people are recognizable celebrities they are big law types, completely unremarkable in appearance, average to below average in height, not attractive, so no one outside of their circle notices them anyway so it isn’t hard for them to engage and fly under the radar.

I have some wonderful stories but don’t want to out myself so I can’t share.
