Teachers and non-bully parents *are* working together, nut job. Are you even a parent with a kid enrolled in VA public school? |
| Calling people “nut job” and characterizing parents as “bullies” is not the hallmark of a person/group that seeks to bring parents and teachers together. It is the methodology of someone trying to frame parents as the “enemy” against whom teachers need dues paying protection from such awful bullies. |

I completely understand why teachers need "protection" from parents. Just read this thread! Teachers suck! Teachers aren't working! No raise until 5 days in person! MY kid's teacher is horrible! I know better! Fire them if not in person!!
Most parents are understanding and show grace. The loudmouths who attack teachers are why teachers need a line of defense. |

Protection? Protection from the posts on this thread? Really? |
Whatever you say, nut job.
I’m a parent and I’m pro-teacher and pro-teachers union. All of the areas in the US with excellent school systems have strong teachers unions. Teachers having a voice in education policy is good for everyone. Anyway, the “division” comes from the jerk parents trying to blame the pandemic on the teachers. You want to see bullying - go read the countless threads of these jerks trashing teachers. It’s disgusting. You want to address “division”? Focus on them. |

Enjoy your petty misery bubble, folks.
Only half of the students at my school are coming back. Many are happy and thriving with DL. |
Are you new to DCUM? Teacher bashing is rampant on multiple forums. It’s disgusting. |
Or something. |
So therefore teachers need a raise? What? |
“More”? You haven’t provided anything yet. And this study is about daycare. Small daycare <> ES school with 700 kids <> MS with 1000 kids <> HS with 2500 kids |
There are many different topics covered over many different threads. Try to keep up. |
Daycare kids are closer together. But you knew that. The point is, you have selective amnesia and cannot remember last year. But we can. |
This thread is about raises. You said that someone said something mean on the internet. And teachers need protection from that. Protection in the form of a raise? Protection in the form of a union? Or protection in the form of you? |
Go ahead and give the raise. A 3% raise doesn’t mean much when you are paid pennies to start with. Let this loser enjoy her Aldi wine. |
