Same. Doesn't reflect well on the the school, TBH.

How does the email going to your junk folder a reflection on the school exactly?

Was the GPA just for final grades in seventh grade or overall GPA for sixth and seventh grade? Walls is only looking at seventh grade final grades.

Just final grades in seventh grade. So your transcript from last year.

Some of you are truly ridiculous.

People don’t understand technology. PP may think the internet is a series of tubes that the school controls. 🤷‍♀️

This is an *important* email, one that many hundreds of families are anxiously awaiting. It is disappointing that SWW didn't take the simple steps required to prevent an email blast from being spam-boxed.

It’s often settings in you email account that are pushing it to spam.

I'll bite. What is that you think are the simple steps?

PP here. I think the 7th grade was approx. 3.67 (I can't tell if specials are weighted differently) at SH and we live in Ward 6.

I really do not think admissions is being done by ward. A 3.7 sounds like a reasonable cutoff for the top 500 or so kids to interview. Good luck to you child!

Has anyone been able to schedule their interview?

My kid got an A in PE and an A in Music (each a final grade). Each was a semester long course. Are those weighted the same as a year long course in Math. So if the grades were
A PE
A Music
B Math

What is the GPA?
3.0
3.5
3.667

PE and music were both 1/2 year courses in 7th.

GPA for those classes would be 3.5. PE and Gym are 1/2 year classes.
