Your great grandfather was a solider in World War One. On the battlefield one day he came face to face with a german, they battled for thirty minutes or more before his army buddy knocked the guy out with the barrel of his gun and they finished him off. Your great grandfather pick echo his watch with had his names carved in the back. After the war he changed his name to the one on the watch and assumed a new idnentity. You named your son after him.

I heard about a guy with a similar story. His father knocked up a prostitute who died in labor. Sad story but Don, a functioning alcoholic, ended up doing very well.

Two story “craftsman” out in the burbs on a honest to god cul de sac. Sarah has a speech impediment as a child which almost made you think twice about having three, almost. Thomas is for Tom your husband who taught the kids to play video games and drive a stick shift. All you”e clothing looks like LL Bean meets Anne Taylor twenty years ago. Emily’s been begging to get her ears pierced and she’s just about worn you down. The kids all play soccer together in the large grass yard which Tom wants to put a pool into one of these days. Both FEDs.

You again? Dawn was born to angry parents who fought constantly, she used this desire for comprmise and calm to become a state speech champion in high school which landed her spot in top college. Now she is a professor with her one child, Colleen, who was adopted years ago. Dawn doesn’t tell many people that she had a baby in college than she gave up for adoption, but the desire to adopt came from that. They are very happy, nice condo. The sofa is burnt orange though which Dawn’s mother hates to no end.

Blended family. Veronica and Rosalinds mim thought their names were punk and chic but now Roni is wearing a biker jacket to school and your old worlds parents are worried she’ll start “doing things with girls” Lucy and Olivia both dance, this year they were going to be party guest and snowflake in the nutcracker. When Ros isn’t teasing them they still play with their tea set and pretend to be English dames. Your marriage is happy, but ex dad is trying to vie for his girls attention since you replaced him with a new husband in big law.

Omg. You are right about the blended family—mine are Veronica and Rosalind, his are Lucy and Olivia. Wow!

Cool, their all nice names but it wasn’t hard to discern their were two different sets of tastes here.

He’s a freshman and resents his eccentric nam amidst all the James and jacks. He does well in school, especially loves photography, but isn’t doing well socially. Your house is a bungalow, updated to look like a farmhouse before you bought it. You grew up on a dairy farm in Minnesota, you used to love the way snowflakes landed on your nose and always loved the energy of winter.
Two poodles, Black and Tan. When you were in college you wanted to design fashion, but settled for a good paying accounting job. You go to outdoor yoga four times a week.

Winter is a girl. But we do live in a bungalow with farmhouse decor 😄

You are a multicultural family — one parent is white and the other has Chinese origins. You all met through mutual friends shortly after grad school. You all live in a close-in suburb in a townhouse and enjoy taking family walks and visiting the park. When you have time, which isn’t too often with two working parents, the whole family cuddles up for a movie marathon. It’s a relatively quiet home but for Iris — she’s the feistier of the two. But worry not, the feistiness will evolve into a confident and just-assertive-enough presence that will serve her well. Wally is more even-keeled and the most into sports of anyone in the family.

Iris has huge eyes and dark hair, she looks solem most of the time but you hope that’ll turn into a beitifal mature face as an adult. When you were pregnant a second time you and husband watched Wall E and he was so drunk he kept saying “wwwwwaaaaallllleeeee” over and over. You laughed so hard you almost chocked and hot dog bite and decided the name was cute. Your grandmother is from Instanbul but passed for white and immigrated to America for better life. Your mother was bullied by islamaphobs growing up and now is slightly racist in defense. Husband thinks your lovely but you fear he has a slight “exotic” kink.

Both Boston natives you auditioned for house hunters seven times because you thought you’d be perfect. Bleach your hair for the past decade, can’t give up being a blonde. You think your a trophy wife but really husband is just at your league. Kids are cute, they only wear matching pajamas and share a large room (you read online about the benefits of siblings sharing rooms). You use extra room as walk in closet for mama (which you call yourself) and drink red wine by yourself. Best friend is named Nicole.
