Euphoria on HBO

I LOVED the last episode. Brilliant. I can't believe how much I am loving this show. Maude Apatow is fantastic. Zendaya better win another Emmy.

Either him or Ashtray died.

Or both

I'll say Ashtray dies. He shouldn't have killed Mouse and would deserve it. That kid is a F up. Fez is too popular to die. Right???

I hope so. Love fez.

I loved it at face value- the play was hilarious and it was an excellent glimpse into Lexi with fantastic writing- but kind of like the episode around rue hitting rock bottom, it didn’t do much to advance the plot of the show.

That said, I’ve loved getting to see more of Lexi this season. I keep being surprised at what a funny actress Maude Apatow is. She has really great comedic timing, she kind of reminds me of a more subtle, more Jewish Emma Stone. She definitely got her break because of nepotism, but she is talented and fun to watch.

I could see "is Fez going to die or live" as a cliff hanger, sadly.

It absolutely is. It’s for 17 and over, not that hbo and its apps care.

Honestly no 17 year old should be watching this either. I wouldn’t want my 17 year olds early impressions of relationships and sexuality to be distorted by this show.

Spoiler alert…poor Ash and Fez! What did Ash hope to accomplish? He wasn’t going to somehow prevent Fez from going down? To me, both of his critical actions in this episode show (stabbing the guy and trying to battle it out with the cops) show young and immature he is. Fez and Faye could have neutralized the threat with the wire and were playing it smart.

I was kind of disappointed in the finale. I mean the story with Ash and Fez was good, but otherwise meh.

Smut filth. Shame on all of you for hyping this disgusting show whose motive is to pollute the minds of tweens and teenagers.

I'm glad Ash went down for that. Fez called the cops himself and was going to turn himself in. What will happen to Fez? He will definitely survive, but he was caught holding the knife so will they still go after him? Will he tell the truth about his dead brother or still take the fault?

I liked that the episode didn't have a bunch of cliff hangers, other than will Fez live or die. Rue looked really healthy and I appreciated that.

Can Sydney Sweeney cry and drip boogers on demand? With a smile on her face? She's underrated.

Really? The chaos on stage was “chef’s kiss”. And Rue walking away from Jules? Heartbreaking.

Fez didn’t call the cops. He knew the cops would be coming when they stopped hearing the feed from their informant.

Ok Karen.

Did I miss it but how did Rue repay Laurie what she owed her? Or is the balance still outstanding?

Agree--gratuitous. Felt like voyeurism, as if the director of someone was getting off on filming sex scenes and pretending "this is real life for today's teens." Stopped watching after a while because there didn't seem to be much storytelling point to it all other than showing the sex and drug use.

Teens?

Zendaya is 25.
