I can see why people thought the performance in last nights episode was a great one, but it did nothing to further the plot of the million other storylines after last weeks very eventful episode.

Lol that’s certainly an exaggeration. Pretty much every single solitary popular series revolves around relationships. Highly doubt anyone was watching greys anatomy for the medical knowledge. Rues addiction is one portion of a very large ensemble and while tragic, addiction is a depressing and not particularly entertaining plot for a television series due to an often non linear progression.

It’s literally the only episode about this. Guess you just want to see more of Nate yanking down Cassie’s undies, which in my opinion they’ve spent way too much time on. But maybe that excites you.

DP and I agree with PP. She may be 25 but most of the characters being portrayed are around 16. I watched some of season 1 to see what the buzz was about. It's just another show fetishizing teen sex and drugs. I don't really understand why adults enjoy watching teens behave badly so much, but there are plenty of shows and movies that indicate they do. Are there even any redeemable characters? I am simultaneously horrified and bored by shows like this where its just a bunch of stupid people making bad decision after bad decision. Nobody under 18 should be watching this.

My 15 year old high school students keep trying to convince me to watch. I find it disturbing that they like it so much. I watched 20 minutes when the first season came out and found it incredibly depressing and disturbing.

It's a pretty gross show.

I’m not the one writing aggressive comments on anonymous message boards accusing other people of…fetishes or whatever it is you’re implying. I wish the show had less nudity, and this season mostly did, but apart from fez and ash, literally every other storyline is about relationships - familial, romantic and friendship. I find all of those more interesting than rues very depressing addiction and backstory. You need to calm down. If the shows content offends you, don’t watch it. Don’t project onto others.

IMO, the very first episode of the series is the darkest. It gets better after that. I had to take a break from watching the episode and I’m glad I came back and tried again. I love the show now.

There's blood in the syringe when you hit the vein. That's normal. So is multiple attempts to hit the vein on someone that doesn't fix. Artistically is may have just been to illustrate that there would be evidence of Rue's intravenous drug use.

Is it that Claire? She was threatened to be kidnapped if she did not pay it back. Lori helped her out when she needed help, but then she escaped the house. Presuming between when that happened and the play was at least a week or even longer? So why is real not trying to repay the loan or anxious about what will happen while chancing being trafficked?
