So FCV can add 1 kid per age group? |
Yeah. Hopefully not written by an Arlington U14 parent. They have only won 1 out 3 times vs WS VA (record no better against WS MD). Maybe it was the Arlington U19 DA team? No wait they don't have one yet. |

The issue is deeper than the win loss record although that is part of it. The instability and questions about the future of the club hurts the perception of the DA in this area. I hope that Arlington and FCV parents are not the ones attacking Spirit because if so they are shooting themselves in the foot. |
| Has there been any communication about next year? Have offers gone out? Are current players excited to play Great Falls? |
I don't think too many players will be asked to play down to the non-DA Great Falls teams. Maybe one or two if performance has lagged. Why do you care if you are not with WS? |
Changes are coming. The era of large rosters is over. |
And? |
| Has Spirit GDA VA been formally awarded their renewal letter for the 2019-2020 Development Academy Season? If so, where can one find it? |
That is what they said last year too. |
Based on communication with coaches—yes. I don’t think that type of thing is posted publicly. |
| ^^^This. The coaches will be in touch with those players that are positively impacting their current Spirit team about the new plans for 2019-20. Not really anyone else’s concern at this time. The whole “wearing GF jerseys” is a totally bogus rumor. Time will tell! |
Maybe not GFR jerseys but Washington Spirit is getting out of the youth soccer business. |
|
| Patiently waiting for FCV to announce they are taking over the GFR partnership. |
