Trump wanted to release immigration detainees onto the streets of “sanctuary cities"

How does one get to be as gigantic a POS as Steven Miller?

It is not just stupid and dangerous. The idea is full of spite and a plan to portray immigrants as some kind of animals that they would be released in sanctuary cities to teach those "libs" a lesson. It is dehumanizing immigrants. Trump has been trying to teach a lesson to the blue states; by taking away SALT deductions, coming in the way of providing adequate disaster relief, taking away money allocated for healthcare etc. This is yet another ploy in his devious plan to teach lessons to people who did not support and vote for him.

No, liberals are not criticizing to welcome the immigrants (wish Trump gets dropped on his head and wake up to actually do that), they are criticizing Trump's vindictiveness and deviousness. He does not act presidential even for a second. With his spiteful approach to every policy) he will never be a president for all Americans! He is disgusting, so are the people who support his policies and gaslight anyone who dare to criticize their Dear Leader.

Liberals hate the taste of their own medicine.

This is the example of what is wrong with this idea. Imagine if a Democratic president suggested, let us change laws to give gun license to people suffering from mental health only if they move to a red state!

It really doesn't matter, however. Does it?

Ridiculous or not, even if there were a logistical and safe way to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities or "welcoming cities," the responses on this thread are STILL very telling.

Show of hands - those of you in Mo Co . . . would you welcome these folks, many who have faced a lifetime of obstacles, into your community if ICE transported them to - oh - Wheaton?

Yes (and kick you out)

So displace am American Family for illegal aliens?

You are a parody of a loon but sadly real. Take them into your home. You want them here so bad. Displace yourself. Let a family live in your home.

So you are saying that a liberal who are for sanctuary cities is like a person suffering from mental health issues.

Gotcha!

NP. I'd be fine with that. People should be forced to live with the laws they support.

If far left liberals want to protect illegal immigrants, they should be prepared to pay for the social services and impact on their schools.
If far right conservatives want every nut to have a gun, they should also live with those consequences.

Whats the problem?

No, you don't get it. The family doesn't have to live in my home. The family will live in YOUR home, after we kick you OUT. Then everybody is happy.

Peoples lives shouldn't be used as a means to "send a message" to your political opponents, but I certainly wouldn't mind more recent immigrants moving alongside me in Silver Spring; if I minded that I probably shouldn't have moved to Silver Spring in the first place.

Awaiting your answer of how you will remove a home owning family from their home to move a family of illegal immigrants in.

You are a textbook lib. You won’t give up your home for illegal families, but will remove-by some illegal force- another family- to house illegals.

You are really unhinged.

Great question.

My theory is that they love him BECAUSE he is a spiteful a$$hole. Just look at all of the MAGA posts on this one thread. They lap it up.

What is the message being sent? If sanctuary cities want them, they'll pay for services for them. It seems like they would be released into a supportive environment.

Yes I do think whoever came up with this was pushing the envelope but why would it be a burden if sanctuary cities want them to come?

Arent sanctuary cities doing precisely that, sending a message "with people"? Whether you find it spiteful seems subjective.
