Missed TJ teacher name entry deadline (appeal process)

I recall that in the information session back in September, the lady that gave presentation suggested to reach out to the teaches for recommendation requests way before January so there there might be enough time to go to different teachers. I am not sure if my kid actually did that, but he entered the teaches' name on the same night when we received the semifinalist notice.
