Imagine you are patiently waiting inline and a large group of people just showed up and cut the line and went straight inside? Shouldn't the owner/staff there tell that group of people to go outside and wait for their turn?

We all want yummy cupcakes, we should all wait in line.

To all the people who act like an enormously complex issue, such as immigration, is as simple to work out as a line at the cupcake store— were you dropped on your head as child? Does Moron run in your family?

If there was a quick fix for immigration like putting kids in cages and Build the Wall! It would have been done decades ago. We have complicated problems in this country and need smart, serious people who work together to develop solutions that can’t be boiled down to a dumb metaphor and a ten second sound byte.

And frankly, I am sick and tired of Trumpkins taking complex problems that affect millions of Americans, like healthcare or DACA or immigration or wage stagnation or the cost of college or the opioid epidemic, thinking about them for 5 minutes, spouting off some nonsense about standing in line at the cupcake store and building the wall, declaring the problem fixed and moving on. ISIS hasn’t been defeated because Trump got bored with Syria and decided to declare that ISIS is defeated. The travel ban is a solution in search of a problem. Kids in cages and tear gassiing civilians and the wall do nothing to address the underlying issues that are leading to an immigration crisis being fueled primarily by Visa overstays. And are an expensive, unwieldy, morally objectionable, intellectually lazy half measures.

Immigration isn’t a cupcake store. It isn’t as simple as patiently waiting in line for the yummy cupcake. And you are either a patronizing a@@hole or an idiot if that’s how you talk about immigration.

We should so better on immigration (and opiates and education and healthcare and DACA and the rural-urban opportunity divide, etc.etc.) than a 15 second applause line that can hold a geriatric orange toddler’s attention.

It’s time to put adults back in change.

You sound as nuts as the orange toddler yourself haha. you explained nothing. Just a bunch of angry rants. Hope you feel better after venting.

DP. Wrong. It sounds "nuts" to you, because you lack the intellectual capacity and attention span to understand. No one feels better after venting these days, because our country is going right down the sh*tter due to our awful POTUS and the idiot Republican majority that will not stand up to him.

Everyone in my office sent $100. I’m
Sure we will get all of our money back because I doubt it will fund enough, but it gets our point across

For those of you sneering that this is wasted money - I hardly think trying to shore up our country’s borders is a wasteful cause. And donating to this doesn’t preclude anyone from also donating to other worthy causes. It’s not a n either/or situation.

Proving the adage that a fool and his money are soon parted. Because, you know, there is no actual mechanism by which the government will accept and use this money for this purpose.

Exactly, you can't donate money to the government and earmark the money. That would take an act of Congress. If donated the money would go to a general fund.

Ha. How DUMB are you. Money is not going to the wall, and you aren't getting it back.

Stupid Trump sucker.

The point is they care more about keeping brown people out of the country than helping people who already love her. So many other things to donate to. Like veterans health care and homelessness.....

You’re an ass.

Why? That money is actually going to go to charity, not to the scam artist running the gofundme site for the wall.

The only message it will send is that there enough of you who think the wall is worth $100, let alone the $60 billion or whatever it will actually cost.

LOL. This is why we have an idiocracy.

I think most "liberals" realize that we have more pressing issues in this country than building a wall. Is that REALLY where you think you tax dollars are best spent?

Yeah the guy running it sounds pretty shady.

They claim to be half way there after having raised a little over $4M of the $5B needed.

Math clearly isn't a strong suit.
