The searched of his property yielded nothing. |
I agree. Just so strange the dogs (search dogs and cadaver dogs) found nothing. Foul play or not, how does a person simply vanish? |
I saw the police speculate that this was a "false ping.". Do any tech wizards know how likely that is? |
I think that Kelsey an out of town pilot friend come and pick her up and take her to another airport where they took off on a private plane w/o filing a flight plan. They flew low (under the radar) and crashed in ID. |
You should write screen plays! |
I have never heard of that and I doubt that a cowboy like her boyfriend would know how to do something so technically sophisticated with a cellphone. But who knows. |
Really? It sounds a lot more plausible than this reclusive cowboy figuring out how to ping a cellphone in ID. Kelsey had lots of pilot friends, she was a beautiful head turner and it wouldn't have taken much convincing on her part to have a male pilot friend drive a distance to get her and use his private plane to fly her to her Mom's area. Maybe even one of her students had a plane that was kept at another airport. If Kelsey was frustrated that her boyfriend was not committing to her and she was considering moving closer to her mom to help with childcare.... Is there a missing male plane owner somewhere? |
^She was planning to surprise her mom and didn't want her (ex) boyfriend to know where she was heading so she never said a word to either one of them. Then the plane crashed. |
Except there would be another missing person and/or plane and there isn’t. |
If it's a person who flies all over the place and really doesn't settle down in one place for long they may not be missed for awhile. Do they have traveling flight trainers? |
And this story does not jive with the text received by her work and ex. |
If she typed the texts when she was in the car and they got out of cellphone service range maybe the texts didn't actually send into the cellphone hit ground in ID. They would have been flying over rural fields, off the beaten track. Just a theory. |

Or
The dogs just missed something. That happens plenty of times. Bodies are discovered years later, at place that had been searched before. He took a gamble and it payed off. |
He strikes me as more of a guy with commitment issues/cheater than a murderer for some reason.
I'm not sure what is giving me that vibe. Kelsey probably had more of a reliable paycheck than he did...if he was watching their daughter during the day I'm not seeing his motive for wanting Kelsey dead. It seems that he was pretty fine living apart and doing his own thing. Kelsey is the one who moved close to him.... |
