Kavanaugh Accuser reveals her Identity

So if Trump isn't standing by him, why is anyone here standing by him?

Because misogyny is a sport to some of these folks who, if they didn’t have hatred to hold them up, would have nothing at all.

And because it's very likely that guys from prep and mater Dei and little flower are on DCUM...along with their wives...and they are blindly defending their buddy.

Kavanaugh will remove himself from consideration tomorrow. He will say that while he continues to deny it happened because he has no recollection, he will bow out to save his family and this woman from further drama.

And his jerky buddy will likely write a tell all or sell his story to a tabloid once K bows out.

If he really was sort of a rich jerk drunken teen, how the heck did he get into Yale in the 80s? Correct me if I'm wrong but he's not Bush family rich & connected, is he?

I, like others in this thread, have been sexually assaulted and told pretty much no one. Those couple I have told I did so in confidence and they would never tel anyone. FWIW, each of them had histories and experiences with sexual assault and/or abuse. Those who find this scenario unlike seem to (fortunately for them) know very little about about rape and sexual assault.

Let me explain it to you:

1) Zero hour accusation after multiple ridiculous attempts to get rid of Kavanaugh didn't work
2) She's a liberal college professor from California
3) They were high schoolers at the time of the alleged incident
4) We have zero proof this actually happened
5) She didn't even seek therapy until 2012 if it did.

And that's just the start

Is there a source for this? I tried looking it up, but all I could find is that the victim has twenty years to file a charge for sexual assault after she turns 18.

The victim was a sophomore so she wasn’t 18.

That doesn't matter, according to this:

He should be jailed. He should have to give up custody of his daughters too. If his wife defends him the kids need to go into foster care.

I assume this is sarcasm.

IF ONLY. Sadly there will be enormous pressure the other way, because the Gorsuch nomination is not enough to get out the vote, and Republicans know that well enough. They need another arrow in their quiver.

Have you ever known or been a high school girl? Here's a little secret: a story like this would have been shared contemporaneously. NOT saved for years. Had she been raped, she might not have shared, but this is the kind of story a girl would share. Hiding in the bathroom, etc.

She doesn't remember what year it was?
She doesn't remember how she left the house?

If it had happened and was that traumatic, she would have remembered.

Yes, I have. And because of that, I believe her. I also believe the 65 women who signed the letter stating they think he is a saint. Both things can be true and she is likely telling the truth. This kind of stuff routinely happened to me and my friends. We didn’t talk about it until recently with the metoo stuff. He needs to step down. We cannot have another assaulter on the Supreme Ct. Not in 2018.

I absolutely agree. I am sure this Brett K would never assault a woman now. He has grown and matured, like most men who do stupid things in their youth (unlike the Weinsteins of this world). However, in the light of other things he has said, his writings, etc, it shows that he is someone that did grow up with a particular respect for women. So when it comes to decisions on birth control and abortion, I am very concerned he might not respect women either.

Some women deserve no respect. I say this as a woman.

So they get what they deserve? No biggie to be raped or assaulted?

With liberals, depends on who does the rape or assault.

Not an official statement, but per Politico:

A lawyer close to the White House said the nomination will not be withdrawn. “No way, not even a hint of it. If anything, it’s the opposite. If somebody can be brought down by accusations like this, then you, me, every man certainly should be worried.”

Ok, so the suggestion is, every man has done this. Uh, no. Only in GOP Trump World is this the case.

The man who spoke with Politico must have gone to Georgetown Prep.

In the real world, most men did not behave this way in high school.

Whose in the line up if Kavanaugh withdraws?

Would be funny if he orvshe were more conservative.

See the pattern here?

Keep destroying your credibility liberals.

Not every male has a #metoo past. In fact, I would bet there is a pro-life judge out there somewhere who has more honor in his pinky nail than Kavanuagh. If that is the goal, find him and nominate him. We shoudn't be further eroding our instititution and especially the Supreme Court, any further.

You are correct. Just any conservative being nominated by Trump.

He can be smart and be a complete misogynist a-hole. See Rob Porter.

And feel free to mix it up every now and then with a "Well, I just find the timing suspicious" or a "If this really happened, why is she only reporting it now?"

Get moving, conservatives! Especially you conservative ladies!

Conservative lady is a contradiction in terms.

Trump supporters are more likely to have assaulted women. So the White House lawyer isn’t wrong.

STFU

If the MD DA determines the victim is credible, Kavanaugh should be charged and tried.

I agree. I said his kids need to be taken away unless his wife divorces him. Why should the authorities trust him around his girls, right?

What is astonishing is this lawyer close to the white house is not arguing that it is not true, but that men need to stick up & defend this
