It's going to be great when this all turns out to be yet another nothingburger.

I mean, if the suggestion was that the dossier was a fake, manufactured piece of garbage, then I would get it. But to date, none of it has been disproven. So Steel's sources appear to be accurate and the information he compiled appears to be, at least, 70% accurate. The rest is seriously noise. If there was nothing to the FISA warrant, it would not have been renewed, not once, but three times, by three different Republican Appointed Federal judges.

But sure, keep putting focus on the dossier, because once Cohen admits he did go to Prague, then the collusion will be sealed.

So they can subpoena the entire FBI, but they can't subpoena Steve Bannon. Interesting. Sounds like they're really dedicated to finding the truth /s

I may have missed it: Has anyone determined who are (or were) the moles/agents within the DNC yet?

(I've detested Trump for 30 years, so this really is sincere and not a bait question.)

Specifically, they keep laughing off the old excuse for the Trump Tower meeting - adoptions. What this explanation says to me is that the Russians wanted to discuss relief from the Magnitsky human rights sanctions in exchange for dirt on Clinton. Banning adoptions is how they retaliated against us after we passed the Magnitsky Act.

It’s the quid pro quo, stupid!!!!

It’s not like they hired a consultant and paid a fee for this info, but rather it’s the fact that these traitors sold out America’s foreign policy in exchange for help on a campaign. Why can’t the media make that point and help people see that this could truly affect things?

The new sanctions that begins on August 22, will hit Russian really hard. I don't understand how anyone who reads the entire list of sanctions can imply that Trump administration is working for Putin.

If Russia really hacked our voting machines and turned many members of Congress into assets, that's a big problem.

How do we know that Russia isn't go to try to invade Poland? Or Sweden? Or Alaska?

But if you are innocent until proven guilty, why is all this noise?

We don't know what Russia is going to do next, but based on the recent invasions to Georgia and Ukraine, it is highly possible that they can invade other countries. Maybe no Poland or Sweden, but Latvia, Estonia.

If there was no there, there, then why did 3 GOP appointed Federal Judges extend the FISA warrant on Carter Page? It's like you willfully ignore the core crime - treason, for all of the noise around it. Perhaps Steel was so desperate to help gain attention to his findings because he was concerned Trump would get away with stealing an election and so he and Simpson did what they could to get their information to the right places within the US Government - since normal channels (ie contacts at the NY FBI Field office) were ignored.

There is nothing in the dossier that has been proven wrong to date. Maybe start with that. There are hard facts in it that have borne out. Start with the money trails, which have been confirmed.

What about the "fruit" of the warrants on Page? Are you saying they lied about that as well?

That was two years ago. At this point, much of it has been verified.

Actually, the question is, by whom?

The way this is worded makes me think it will be public testimony. Good.

DOJ official Bruce Ohr will come before Congress on August 28 to answer why he had 60+ contacts with dossier author, Chris Steele, as far back as January 2016.

He owes the American public the full truth.
