What type of things do you do that I really illegal and why

I totally thought there was going to be something more intriguing criminal activity than this.

DCUM, you have failed me.

Why won't the lobbyists, lawyers, politicians, bankers, and cops speak up? It's anonymous!

In college I was part of a 'conspiracy' that brought 100 doses of hallucinogens to campus. It wasn't that intriguing - absurdly easy actually.

Yes Sarah, we know. And now there's not so much as a Tylenol in any of our bathrooms, or bedrooms on the rare occasion you are invited into our home. Get help.

How did you know my name?

I know everything about you.

Lol. I was going to write jaywalking, rolling stops, text while driving, going up to 10 miles over speed limit, when I realized that makes me so banal.
How about you, PP? What can YOU add?

There's a ton of things I refrain from doing only because they're illegal and I don't want to risk having to deal with the consequences. The only illegal things I can think of that I have actually done are jaywalking and occasionally watching episodes of TV shows not available on Netflix for free on what I suspect (but do not know for sure) is a site that makes the shows available illegally.

Texting while driving is NOT in the same category as rolling stops or driving 10 over the limit.

WTF

I know. Geesh

BTW the "*sshole thread" has better stuff in it - actual thieves!

I commute every day down Pennsylvania Avenue, which always prohibited left turns between 5th and 13th, to keep traffic moving and so cars wouldn't be crossing the bike lanes. Then last fall they marked one block of the left lane as "left turn only" just so cars could turn left into Trump's hotel. I, along with everyone else, ignore the sign and drive straight through it, because I've never seen anyone actually turning into that hotel driveway, it would back up all the traffic if everyone merged out of that lane for just one block, and I hate Trump.

DH and I usually do this together on vacation. If our server is nice we just ask and they've always just left an empty when clearing.

+1000

Former waitress here. I thought everyone did this. Who are these holier than thou (not really) drinking glass nazis? Pathetic. Maybe we should report things they have done.

You mean people who don't steal things, and think stealing is wrong?

There are a lot of us.

No, I mean the holier than thous who do far worse than stealing a restaurant glass, think nothing of doing worse themselves, yet feel the need to "condemn" (LOL) the restaurant glass taker. My God, is your life that empty? Ask anyone who owns a restaurant, and they will tell you that their staff does not have to pay for a glass that a patron takes, that the patron's business is worth more than that.

I am with PP - I tip in cash, because I have reliable reason to believe that waitresses don't always receive all of their tip money at the end of each night/shift.

So you just KNOW that these "holier than thous" do worse ...

Stop stealing.

-Not the PP

Well, yeah. There are ways of reading about it.

Uh ... that makes no sense at all.

You've never looked someone up and found something out that surprised you - in a bad way?

Really? It makes perfect sense. If you want it to.

So someone called you out for stealing a glass and you looked them up and they were literally the devil?

I am telling you about a situation I know, and that the person has something much worse in their background. I don't think I would be calling anyone out for anything myself - unless I knew damn well that I was perfect. Do you know anyone that is perfect? Or are you going to try to say that question makes no sense, too?

I am OP. I went to high school with Scott Silverthorne and I was thinking of him when I wrote this....he was entitled then...but how did he get to paying for guys with meth on a dating site. His Dad was Mayor of Fairfax, so I got that part. It is just so strange. There must have been some interesting slips along the way. Just wondered if folks had literally fell off the bar and if it changed your path.

Another PP here. The is exactly the shady, sketchy criminal behavior I am referring to - NOT $5. glass stealing. Do people really have the kind of time, inclination and life to report that sh$t? How sad for them.

Well, I also sign all of my friends up for Trump campaign emails. Not illegal, but evil.

My cousin has some sort of weird fetish. This is gross so I apologize in advance and back out now if you are easily offended.

She is a really pretty blonde/blue eyed "butter wouldn't melt in her mouth" girl who is obsessed with farting and getting away with it. She says no one would ever think it was her. She does it all the time in public. Will purposely eat gas causing foods then go "crop dusting" in supermarkets. She always lets SBDs when talking in a group then watches everyone get blamed for her. She also never flushes after a poo. Says she likes thinking about people freaking out finding her turds.

I don't know what kind of childhood trauma caused it but its so nasty!!! I wish I were trolling here but I am not.

That is more than a little crazy, but also kind of hilarious!

My friend would love your cousin. She can go on and on about poo and farts for an uninterrupted half an hour or more. It's gross but I smile, nod and let her talk about this all she wants sometimes.

I won't describe fun and juicy drug-related stuff from the past because that would be admitting guilt in writing, linked to my IP, address, etc, and no thank you. I think others may see it like that too.

Is it okay? I always tell the cashier to take a banana off the bunch and weigh it again to pay for the one consumed. They do about half the time.

I don't know why but this irritates the bejesus out of me. No reflection on people who do it, it just bugs the heck out of me. I think my father does it on purpose, drinks a soda, anytime I take him to the grocery store just because he knows I hate it. LOL.

Whole Foods has a policy where kids can get a treat at the customer service desk OR have one complimentary piece of fruit, any kind.

I routinely watch TV shows for free on third-party hosting sites and I have a VPN I use to get around geo-blocking of, say, BBC iPlayer. I have a fake iTunes account for another country and use iTunes gift cards from eBay to avoid putting billing information in.

What is the purpose of that that if you use gift card for purchases?

Because some foreign shows are not licensed on the US iTunes website, only iTunes Canada or the UK or Australia or whatever. So you need an account on that version of iTunes to have access to the shows, and you have to use gift cards because you can't put in a US billing address and a fake one won't work.
