Please tell that to the babies (literally babies!) getting detained at airports. You're a selfish monster.

I know, I know. In your perfect world they would have been aborted. (not the pp)

Well, given that you want to sentence these babies to a liftetime of suffering, abortion sounds like a much kinder. Making a baby die in terrible pain with no healthcare is monstrous behavior.

I think you just proved what makes the "pro-life" movement so disgusting.

He wouldn't have been elected if Clinton-Kerry-Obama had allowed that pipeline to be built. Those few hundred thousand jobs was the margin in a few industrial states. All to pay off Warren Buffet and his railroad empire.

Actual jobs don't matter. I'm from Indiana, and Obama's auto bailout was opposed by local Republicans. The bailout saved a lot of jobs but voters in the state just couldn't see giving Obama credit for the recovery. The New York Times had a good article about how Obama got scant credit for the recovery.

Compare that with how Trump/Pence supporters fawned over Trump for comparative nothing-burger of the Carrier deal.

OP, get on some anti-anxiety meds, have sex with your DH, and channel that political energy into some meaningful volunteer work.

Oh, and get off social media for a while.

Is this the 2017 version of "don't worry your pretty little head"? Perhaps OP's husband will increase her monthly pin money for hair ribbons and fripperies.

Actually it's the opposite. Instead of wringing her hands metaphorically on the internet, she should a) do something meaningful to change the world and then b) enjoy her wonderful husband.

DCUM never ceases to amaze me. The same women who would be screaming bloody murder if a man was trying to control the thoughts and actions of a woman feel justified in a woman doing the same to a man. Seriously, folks, two people do not have to approach everything in life the same to have a good relationship.

Doing something meaningful to change the world can mean volunteering but it can mean something else. Men aren't ruling the world because they are out volunteering. Women are already volunteering at school, at church, at other organizations but that isn't necessarily the same as fighting for equality.

Actually, it's about ethics in gaming journalism.

Suck it, liberals! You lost.

At least you're confirming you didn't vote for someone you liked, you are just angry at people who are doing better in life than you are.

The silver lining is that you've all got the president you deserve. Unfortunately while he screws you over, he'll be screwing a lot of other people over with you.

Not the PP, but really, how do you know who is doing better in life? You don't.

You'll lose in the long run.
And I can't imagine the nagging sense of uneasiness some people must be feeling as they watch the guy the voted for do such an ineffective job of putting his own policies into effect while he obsesses about how many people were at his inauguration and how long his standing ovations are.

Sorry OP. Frankly, top on my lists of husband material was someone who was politically aligned with me. Just too big a gulf between how Republicans view the world vs. Democrats.

The only upside I see is when Trump crashes and burns you'll be able to say (or at least think!) I told you so!

Hopefully Trump won't destroy everything that makes the U.S. worthwhile in the process. He's already well on his way.

At this point, that is all one can do - hope.
