+1. Hate her music, hate her narcissism, hate her stupid bodysuits.

Nothing is as tacky as jealousy.

I love the pics w/ Blue! And I'm so happy for the Carter family!

Says the President of the Be Hive.

If you're going to insult someone, at least make sure you can properly spell. It's the BeyHive, nitwit. Now go crawl back into the hole you came out of you jealous little troll.

I have a love/hate relationship with Beyonce. Sometimes when I read about her -- new toilet seat in any hotel room she stays in on tour, 10K dress for Ivy, Barack and Michelle as best buds -- I feel pieces of my skin flaking off from pure envy. I like her music but only for dancing. I am as uncomfortable as Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie with her male-centered brand of feminism. We all know that she wouldn't have become the media juggernaut she did had she covered her thighs and derriere, like, EVER. And yet she can be so touchingly vulnerable at times, so human. And I don't think I would do much better if I had been performing since toddlerhood and famous from the teen years. What was she taught to do besides arrest the gaze, captivate and allure with her physicality?

I wish she'd release more Destiny's Child musiic.

I think she is batshit insane. That's why I love her.

I think the overload of pictures showing her belly makes fairly clear that this is her first pregnancy.

there are more black people inside Beyonce than Trump's entire administration.

I think she was pregnant and gave birth to Blue Ivy. My theory is she was wearing some sort of fake folding belly so people couldnt tell exactly how far along she was.

I have an acquaintance that has worked with both beyonce and her sister solange on separate occasions. Solange was described as crazy and the person said they would not want to work with her again. Beyonce was described as very kind and introverted like. A pleasure to work with.

This. I think she's not very bright, not a great role model for girls (I have a 5yo AA girl who doesn't really know who she is), and seems to have only a shallow understanding of feminism. I also wonder what she's going to do once she ages out of the skimpy clothes. However, I do think she's a great singer and performer.

+1. Except I don't think she's a great singer either.

I'm not the person you quoted but I actually think she can sing. I'm not a big fan of hers personally but I'm not going to deny that she can't sing. Start this at 3:00, it's her singing acoustic.

100% accurate. Worked with both on PR needs in the past few years. Beyonce is kind and generous and incredibly appreciative. Solange is crazy but at least in my experience, crazy in a good way. She's very particular and eccentric. Whereas Beyonce gives leeway in how you reach a final goal for her, Solange wants to control every step in the process and is a micromanager. Frequently, her mom would have to tell her to tone it down because it did rub people the wrong way but just like her sister, she is also quite appreciative of those who work for her. I just don't think she knows how to be as kind and gracious. Overall they are a great family though, but just like everyone else, one person is a little nuts.

I'm the person you quoted and yes, this is the exact sentiment that the person I know shared. That person worked with them on set filming as opposed to PR.

^^ Me again. And I think that elevator incidence that was caught on tape is a prime example of this personality difference between the two.
