BTW 2019 are better than the Hawks and are even with the Crabs.

There are good lax clubs in DMV besides Madlax, in fact Madlax created that demand because of their business practices, player/parent sat.

Yet you did not name 1. Who in the DMV can beat maflax and get kids recruited?

VLC has just as much recruiting success as Madax, costs 2/3 of the prixe and you don't have to give your money to an absolute jerk who charges your credit card automatically.

Have you met the VLC owner?

The real answer is madlax, Blackwood and VLC all of a which have owners who are horrible humans.I

Most are praying NO becomes the club and the owner doesn't b done a d*ick.

Who is the owner of VLC and what did he do?

VLC is owned by the Crabs. He is a loud guy and some don't like him, but he is nowhere near the jerk the Madlax guy is. Plus VLC is run by a few guys down here who have great reputations.

Between VLC BW and Madlax think about who you would be dealing with. Who would be working with your son. On this criteria one option is clearly above the others. Not even close

The answer for VLC and Cavs is "your team's coach". I don't think my son (or me) ever saw the "owner" of either club.

As for MadLax, I would be curious to know - unless your kid is on the 2024 team that Cabell coaches, how often will your son ever see (let alone work with) Cabell himself?

I bet if your kid is on a MadLax DMV team, he will hardly ever see Cabell.

Could be a blessing rather than see Cabell arrive unannounced w/ a bunch of Capital players in tow to take major playing time from the DMV kids,...yet barely eeking a victory.

Hey it's Christmas - let's be thankful that we have local rec and travel teams that help foster a love and practice of lacrosse with our kids.

Get a grip people. Madlax, VLC, Blackwolf will all get your son recruited. If your son is a D1 level talent, each and every one of those clubs will give your kid the tournament exposure they need to be seen by all the programs. Mix in a few showcases and done.

You can run the numbers and decide for yourself whether one warrants a premium over another. All employee former college players as coaches.

I can't believe parents still argue over who is the best club in the High School age bracket. College coaches don't care. They're seeking individual talent that will fit their system. You think if Schellenberger played for Blackwolf that he wouldn't have gotten seen and recruited? Hilarious.

Everybody knows those 3 clubs... not everybody can be on those 3, the question is are there any others in the DMV and the answer is no, maybe next level.

This really depends on your son's age and where you live. For Loudoun families NL does not make much sense. At 2023 NL is a top team and BW does not have a team. Bethesda and DCE are also both in the DMV along with Cavalier Top Caliber Evergreen and others.

Does he email the kids that quit the DMV teams?

I don't know but I do know he uses the dmv as a punishment. He will demote kids if they don't make a practice for things like a school commitment.

Playing for a Madlax DMV team is a harsh punishment

Meh. Even rec coaches will demote a kid from the A team to the B team if he misses practices.
