You are right, but it is bigger than that: Men don't care about anything but themselves or things that immediately and directly affect them. Think about it, when a husband opens his mouth what does he say? Things about himself! Things about his work! Things about his stuff! Things he wants to buy, for himself! Never about his wife, his kids, his house. Other than that, actions speak louder than words. |
Yep. And as much as they bluster on about "Y do u worry about da dishes? Just let em pile up in da sink!" Lord knows it would turn into a hoarder situation if that happened. So it's just a damn lie that conveniently relieves them of actually having to show appreciation for their wife. Because if they actually acknowledged how crucial those myriad boring chores are to the running of a household, then they would have to admit that they would do far, far less. But they dont want to do that- so it's just the "Ugh, why do you even care?" schtick. Very predictable and transparent. |
You do know there's an entire thread right next to this one devoted to man bashing, right? |
Thanks, saw that one. Some definitely truth being spilled. Awesome.

| oops ^definite |
You all say that. You don't say that when selecting a mate nor going through a divorce. |
Fine with me. I'm not married to her. I just have sex with her. |
As long as you dont care, then it's a win/win for both! |
Hah. During divorce proceedings, everyone gets poor as a church mouse. Damn near unemployable too -- mostly because of how darn much they sacrificed for their spouse. |
That is correct. I do not want to support a man financially. I also don't expect him to support me. Hence, I make my own money. Does that help you understand? |
|
seriously! Just because you have a bad husband or one you don't get along with, doesn't mean all husbands are like that. Mine is awesome. He works his ass for his family. he's sexy, funny, and does everything for us. i feel lucky to have him. |
LOL right that's why all the shopping malls are always filled with men compulsively shopping. |
Is there something wrong with shopping? Or do you dumpster dive for everything you own? |
There's nothing wrong with shopping. It's the resulting credit card debt that's the problem. |
