"Be sure to drink your ovaltine" scene in the Christmas Story. I feel like we can all relate to that scene at some point in our childhood.

For me it's the end of The Way We Were, in front of the Plaza all the years later, when Katie says

"your girl is lovely, Hubbell." I'm choked up as I type this.

Great movie that inspired a great scene in another movie, Fame, when the girl breaks down at the singing audition and starts speaking the lyrics to The Way We Were (because she really can't sing) . . . and ends up getting accepted to the drama program.

Wow! I guess I've not seen Fame, that sounds great

This scene at the end of the movie A Little Princess when she finally finds her father but he doesn't remember her because of an injury he got in the war. It's heartbreaking to watch, but it has a happy ending. Great movie to show your kids.

The scene in Parenthood where Keanu Reeves says You know, Mrs. Buckman, you need a license to buy a dog, or drive a car. Hell, you need a license to catch a fish! But they'll let any butt-reaming asshole be a father.

Anonymous wrote:Schindler's List - so many scenes, I almost had to leave the theater I was so upset. But especially the scene of the little boy hiding in the sewage of the latrines.

I did have to leave this movie and also It's A Beautiful Life. I was sobbing so much and didn't want to distract other viewers.
