This scene at the end of the movie A Little Princess when she finally finds her father but he doesn't remember her because of an injury he got in the war. It's heartbreaking to watch, but it has a happy ending. Great movie to show your kids.

| The scene in Parenthood where Keanu Reeves says You know, Mrs. Buckman, you need a license to buy a dog, or drive a car. Hell, you need a license to catch a fish! But they'll let any butt-reaming asshole be a father. |
Thank you! |
I did have to leave this movie and also It's A Beautiful Life. I was sobbing so much and didn't want to distract other viewers. |
It's not coming to me. Parenthood? KR? |
That entire fucking movie. Shit. |
|
Its a Wonderful Life. "Mary, Mary?!?! Don't you remember me? Its me, George, your husband!"
|
Parenthood: Steve Martin: "My whole life is 'have to'". |
I tear up every time. |
