She reminds me of the Olsen twins when they were on Full House.

I don't really feel bad for Mrs. Drewe at this point. Yes it was a shitty thing to take back Marigold after the Drewes became attached to her, but that doesn't give her the right to basically kidnap the little girl. Remember the family didn't want to move the Drewes, but then this kidnapping was the last straw for them. Instead of working something out with Edith that maybe Marigold can come over to see mrs Drewe, she decides to kidnap her. It's time for them to go.

Also, when Lord Grantham said that he had indigestion I thought "he's gonna be dead by the end of the episode"

Just want to add that one thing that bothered me, was that Mrs. Hughes' whole schtick was how she didn't want to be a servant on her wedding day, and I think what she wanted was what most brides want--a day where it's about Mr. Carson and her.

So after that whole plot line is all tied up with a bow, Branson and baby Sibby appear at the wedding reception, and everyone crowds around.

I just think even though Mrs. Hughes' story line is wrapped up so the directors just give her all smiles, if it were IRL I think Mrs. Hughes would be upset because now she's being upstaged at her own wedding by Branson and little Sibby.

I don't think Mrs. Hughes-Carson cared so much about being upstaged as much as she didn't want to take hand outs from her bosses. They immediately jumped to start making plans for what was to be her day. Of course she would feel powerless to say no to them especially with Carson wrapped around Mary's fingers.

I was thinking the same thing as soon as Branson and Sibby walked in. There goes any and all attention on Mrs. Hughes and Carson! I felt so bad for Mrs. Hughes, even though I'm sure she was happy to see them too. It was her day, damn it!

What Edith did is kidnapping. The Drewes adopted Marigold into their family.

No that's not what happened. First and foremost, it's Edith's child and second there was no actual adoption.

I can't decide if I think Mary will end up alone -- Lord Grantham dies, she is running the house but doesn't remarry -- or if she and Tom will actually get married, sort of out of convenience but also a true fondness for one another. What do you all think?

When was the indigestion part? I deleted it from my DVR after Tom came back. Was there more? Or was it earlier? I absolutely think Lord G will die this season. Wish he would take Cora with him.

I agree the sympathy from Mrs. Drewe is over-the-top. Yes, Edith has been ridiculous, but it is her child and the woman had no right to run off with her like that.

Edith let a family in Europe adopted legally then, she took Marigold from that family. She arranged for the Drewes to care for her then took Marigold.

My friend thinks that Tom and EDITH will get together, and this potential romance with magazine helper guy is just to throw us off.

I don't think so, and asked her why she thinks this. She said that Tom is attracted to go-getter women, and Edith was always a sad sack before, but now she's morphed into magazine lady, and will have strong opinions, and will thus be appealing to him.

(I still don't think so because Edith would need more time to morph). I'm still hoping for the romance with magazine guy, then a surprise resurrection of Marigold's father who was not dead but languishing in a German prison.

On another note, if the handsome doctor and Isobel don't work it out and get together, I'm going to go find him for myself! He's wonderful.

Dr. Clarkson!?!? I know. He's awesome. I actually dislike Edith more than Mary (may be in the minority there) and would hate it if Tom ended up with her.

I missed the indigestion comment too. When was that?
