Why are 80% of the "refugees" men? Where are the women, children and elderly.

You cannot deny that some of the past waves of immigrants to Europe like algerians/morrocans in France - some.live in pockets of social or economic isolation and have not assimilated. How would Frances burkha ban go down with this new wave in wondering? Right now I'm guessing people will do/say anything, but in a month? In a year?

Good questions... Anyone?

Look to Sweden for your answers. Not pretty. Beheading in Ikea? They have regrets

The conflagration has started and is now being fanned into Western Europe and through political pressure to accept the overwhelming population of refugees, will inevitably be imported into the US/North America.

No, not ALL Muslims are terrorists, but it just takes a few to sneak in under the guise of a refugee. No, not all Muslims blow things up, however, they can easily overtake public arenas and schools and pose a threat to public safety, especially to the most vulnerable population, when we are going to work, teaching children at school, or enjoying a night out at the movies.

If a country signed the 1951 United Nations Refugee Convention/Protocol, they should abide by it or we should dissolve the United Nations.

Ah yes... the anti-UN conspiracy theorists... I note that none of them actually have a better solution for world peace to replace the UN.

The US and EU let it happen, because of the nuclear talks. You might not like that answer, but the western powers are to blame, not the UN.

It's pitiful really.

Saudi Arabia has 100,000 air conditioned tents capable of housing 3 million people (for Haj) sitting empty right now, but they refuse to take any any refugees.

http://www.breaking-news.ca/saudi-arabia-100000-empty-tents-that-can-house-3-million-refugees-zero-refugees-taken/

But, at least they have offered to donate the building of 200 new mosques in Germany so the refugees they bring in can worship.

I am from Germany and there right now. It is ridiculous. People here are either so naive or so scared to be called "Nazi" because of our history that all caution and common sense flies out the window. Do we need to help refugees? YES! But there is no control anymore. Refugees need to be welcomed - economic migrants need to be sent back home. There are so many refugees, we need all the resources we can muster to serve them well without also housing an entire country full of people who just hop the train for a better life.

There are people IN Germany right now living in poverty...childhood poverty is a problem in certain areas of the country. Yet we are taking in 1 million "refugees"? Nobody is even thinking about if some of them might even be criminals, let alone terrorists, extremists. There is no telling where this will end but over the past 10 years Muslim culture has grown more and more in Germany. And instead of assimilating into Germany's culture Germany is being forced more and more to accommodate Muslim culture. Just not okay.

It's been a few months and it's not going to end well. Sure everyone wants to help now and I am sure lots of this is about presenting yourself well. But what about in a year? Five? Ten? When all the volunteers are sick of it, overwhelmed, go back to their own lives. When there is not enough housing, not enough work, not enough money to go around?

If any person coming to Germany is willing to become a part of Germany I am all for it. But honestly I am not seeing that AT ALL.

Until it turns out the critics were right. No worries, I'm prepared.

We can already see where this is going. Denmark is apparently not providing decent enough jobs so the refugees are in a bit of an uproar

The other thing about opening the flood gates to "migrants" into Europe, other than logistical challenges, when the "migrants" get established, they will call for their families: wives, children, multiple siblings and their dozens of kids, elderly parents, ... In addition, they will all to continue to breed until nature stops them.

I understand that Europe is aging but when you have people who have reproductive habits like these, who will be supporting whom?
