True. Some seasons it seems like a legitimate claim, like with Courtney on Ben's season, and others it just looks like jealousy on the part of those who weren't really making a connection with the lead. For those guys, making friends is all they're going to get to walk away from this experience, so they resent a guy who opts out of the house bonding, knowing that he'll get to stick around solely based on his relationship with the lead. I can see how that looks like arrogance to housemates, while signaling seriousness about the relationship to the lead. |

I think the last Ben would make a great bachelor, but he is so young - he just turned 26. Does he really want a marriage? I just don't know.
And I think Shawn is too much of a meat-head to be a bachelor. Nice as he is. |
| Shawn just acts like more and more of a douche as the season goes on. I'd pick Nick over him. |

Seems like we don't usually have a final 2 who are so unlikable. I think Shawn is more on Kaitlyn's intellectual level. Nick seems very babyish with his emotional communication. At first it seems sweet, but then it just seems grade school.
OK explain this -- Kaitlyn reacted with "ewww!" when Nick told her what "eskimo brothers" meant (i.e. two guys having sex with the same girl within a short time). So, how is she not "ewwww" about herself when she says "I just had my over night with Nick and now I'm going to meet Ben..." Perhaps she didn't sex it with Ben (he's so nice!). Are Nick and Shawn "eskimo brothers" since they seem to have had sex with her in a short period of time? |
| Yes they're all Eskimo brothers |
|
Speaking of Ben's overnight, I don't think it was fair for her to go on a day and night date after having just 30 minutes of sleep, like she said she had with Ben.
Maybe they give them a buffer day inbetween. It is such an odd concept to test out three people you're dating on an over night back to back. (THat is.. back-to-back date nights) |
|
Urban Dictionary does not include any reference to Eskimo Brothers having sex within a short amount of time. Just "ever".
Also, the "brothers" are still good with their relationship. Nick & Shawn are definitely not Eskimo Brothers. Shawn & Ben might be, however. |
|
Shawn & Nick's first "confrontation" in last night's episode seemed so stage. They were nearly laughing in it between their "I just don't think your intentions are pure". It was so clear production put them up to this.
The second one seemed less jovial. Lots more bleeping of words. |
Yeah but I think they beep out boring words to make it more dramatic (and funny) |
|
Ben H will reportedly be the next Bachelor. Or atleast, the rumor websites say so.

| I'm agreeing with all comments. Shawn, as I think we've all heard, is a strong contender, though Nick's got Kaitlyn's heart and affection as well. I was very impressed by Ben's departure, both with how he maturely and gracefully spoke with Kaitlyn, and then in the car interview. There was no profanity, no intense sobbing, but he thoughtfully and carefully described how he felt. Impressive for a relatively young guy. |

PP, part of Eskimo Brothers is that the "brothers" have a good relationship with each other.
Thus, Nick and Shawn and NOT Eskimo Brothers. |
| If she ends up with Nick, she'll deserve what she gets. Like others I like Shawn less than at the beginning, but Nick is so smarmy. And not cute! Ben was definitely the best looking of the 3. |
| Another odd thing about this season is I don't think we've seen her in a bathing suit at all. Isn't that usually a staple? |
